How long is the cowplant's lifespan ?

Hi,

A player confirm the TS3 cowplant can die of starvation after 7 days without eating.

If the cowplant is a pet like bird, I ask how long is its lifespan ? Can it die of old age ?

I don't think that cowplant has a lifespan. The only thing confirmed is that it can die from starvation. Mine never died, because I always gave my cowplant some of my Sim's neighbors. So, no. No die from old age. No old age at all, I think. :)
