Hey all, I want to buy a computer that will run The Sims 3, all its expansion packs, kinda a lot of store items and some cc very well. That is all. I want no other games on this PC. I don't even want to use this PC for browsing the Internet or any other work. I'm using Maxforcepc (http://www.maxforcepc.com/systems.php?c=1&p=3) and want to know if this computer would be upgradeable down the line, good enough to play the game on high and other suggestions.

Ehhhh seems kinda expensive. You definitely don't need a Razer mouse if you're only going to play The Sims 3, I'd also skip the monitor and speakers.

The i3 2100 is more than sufficient for The Sims 3, but its only a dual core, and if you choose to play anything newer, you may feel the need to replace it later. Instead of the H61 motherboard I'd get a H67. You still won't be able to overclock (but I'm guessing you won't do that), but it gives you more USB2.0 ports, and SATA 3.0 if you choose to use it later, making it a better upgradeable board.

If you get a H67 motherboard without USB 3.0 ports, it costs you $13 more than the option you chose. If you choose a motherboard with USB 3.0 it costs you $41 more. Personally I'd get $13 and pickup USB3.0 if you replace the computer. Right now there are only USB 3.0 storage devices available, no peripherals.

My suggested setup:
Case Cooler Master Elite 310
Extra Fans None (but buy some for say $7-8 a piece so lets say $16)
Fan Controller None
Case Lighting None
PSU CORSAIR CMPSU-550VX 550W
Processor Intel Core i3 2100 3.1GHz 3MB
CPU Cooling Xigmatek 964 92mm (The Noctua is VERY nice though, just saying)
Intel Motherboard GIGABYTE GA-H67M-D2
DDR3 Memory Corsair XMS3 DDR3-1333 8GB(2X4GB) CL9
Graphics Card EVGA nVidia GeForce GTX 560 Ti 1GB SC
HDD Samsung Spinpoint F3 HD103SJ 1TB SATA2 7200rpm 32MB
HDD2 None
OS None
Keyboard/Mouse Combo Logitech Cordless Desktop EX 100 Mouse & Keyboard Combo (save yourself $32 if you can salvage these from somewhere else)
Mouse None
Monitor None
Speakers None
Everything Else None

System Price as Configured: $979 + Tax (w/o Monitor or Speakers)

Thanks for the suggestion, I thought that price I posted was a little high.
