Sims from the exchange not showing up?

Hi, I really can't figure out where my thread would go. I'm going a bit crazy because sims from the exchange aren't showing up. I can't ask any of the creators since I don't have an account there. So what I am asking is if these sims will show up in anyone else's game. I'm getting random sims that don't look like the sims from the pictures. I am hoping someone will take the time to install these sims and see if they show up like they are supposed to (this way I'll know if it's the sims' problem or if my game is the problem).

Are you sure it's not just that the sims look different in-game from in the pics? All of those sims use a lot of CC, and will look very different if you don't have the CC they use; plus, the pics are heavily photoshopped, with most of the hairs and outfits being drawn entirely in photoshop. That probably also means that the actual looks of the sims' faces and bodies in the pics has been altered, too. They probably just look like regular EA sims in-game.

Now that I actually look at each creation, I'm seeing that these creators suck >.> None of the sims look like the photos because the photos were photoshopped like you said and I think they may have been taken in second life as well. I feel pretty retarded right now and I'm sorry for wasting your time. While on that note, I officially hate the exchange. I don't know why I keep going back there...
