Hi everybody!
I've made a horse, the colouring from scratch and I've made it from a picture of a model-horse. Also, I've changed a few features but moderator doesn't think it's enough...
"Pretty horse! Unfortunately, he needs some work. For example, his head shape looks very bland and like many of the premade EA pets, and his markings don't quite go well together. Your upload post also has some problems."
Which problems? I think it's very hard to make a horse with shapes that aren't like the premade EA pets... horses are very alike, aren't they, eh?
Here's some pics. Please, help me understand. I would love to post some horses here....

Well it looks like the coloring is leaning towards a dapple grey. However you know how you have white spots? Well they are quite large if you could make them smaller then that wud be better. Right now the horse is very pretty tho. Also try messing with the mane color. I wud go with a grey or white. Right now it looks like a cream. As for the head, look at different breeds.

Well normally MTS would accept rare breeds not in the game like many of the pets in the pets section of the downloads folder. It's either that or a pet with a very unique set of markings or a very unique characteristics, although your horse is VERY pretty, and I honestly would live one if I was a horse person, It is just too much like the EA horses, if you want a horse uploaded I suggest makin one based off of a rare horse breed and use real life pics of it to work off of, and repost it, I'm sure someone, notably PharoahHound will give a ton of advice, maybe even on this one. :)

Well, unfortunately, since we can't see your upload post, we can't tell you what problems there may be with it. As for the horse itself, there are many different breeds of horses all different styles. Think of the differences between an Arabian and a Clydesdale. Not at all alike. I think what your mod might mean is that your horse sculpt looks rather like EA made horse with just the coloring changed. I would suggest looking at different types of horses and seeing how their features and sculpts come together.
Regarding the coloring, your horse is very light and dapple. Then it has some darker markings on the legs...okay, that doesn't seem too bad. Then, when you look at the face, it is -very- dark around the muzzle and eyes and, from the front, looks kind of scary and doesn't seem to go at all with the light airiness of the rest of the horse. It also seems a wee strange that the hooves and mane/tail are the exact same colors. Also, a facial close up would be good to help show his markings and face sculpt (is also required).
Good luck with working on him! :)

Funny how it goes, isn't it? I actually disagree with Heaven about the face. I think the dark eyes and muzzle are very striking (in a good way). I'd also go the other way and suggest a dark grey mane as well, so the overall look is a bit like this (http://www.horse-training-care.com/images/dapple-grey.jpg) or this (http://www.flickr.com/photos/29998014@N07/2808768568/) horse.

Yeah, the face lloks good, a lot of horses have that, but the goldish hoofs are unnatural, I'd go with a standard black or black matte.

on the hooves i would not go with a black. more like a dark grey and illu is right about the face. horses do tend to be like that. im not sure id go with an arabian. just because someone else has already come up with an arabian on here.

I do believe what your moderator meant is that the head shape looks nearly identical, if not completely identical, to one of the premade EA dapple grey horses. Horses uploaded here need to have custom shapes as well as colours. Could you post pictures of the horse you used as a model, please? :) It would help use help you, so we could see what you want him to look like.
Your horse's mane is kinda cream, and looks like EA default colour, if you really want to stand out try making a custom mane colour. Custom mane colour doesn't have to be extremely different, like purple or something ridiculous, just something you made yourself. However, most dapple grey horses have grey manes, so the cream mane colour looks a little "off".
The body markings just lack some finesse and detail, though you've got a nice start. :) For example, the dapples all seam to be the same colour and opacity, which looks somewhat sloppy and unnatural. There's also a lot more you can do with the various shades of grey on the body, I've made dapple greys and they're a LOT of work to get right. The black markings on the legs seem "too perfect", most dapple greys have uneven dark shading, with darker dapples. On yours they're just solid black, which doesn't really go well with a dapple horse. I think the hoof colour is fine.
I had a quick glance at your upload before it was rejected, some of the problems with your upload post included: you didn't include all of the required screenshots, and you didn't include and description of the actual horse in your upload text, just a warning not to steal him. You need to read our Creator Guidelines (http://www.modthesims.info/wiki.php?title=MTS2:Creator_Guidelines/Sims_3_Pets) again, they will tell you everything you need to do with your upload photos and description. :)
