Hello. :) I'm having a strange graphics problem with my Sims makeup. It is not showing up properly outside of CAS, and I can't figure out why. I have tested my game with different skins and without any cc skins, but all my makeup shows up looking splotchy and streaky. It is most noticeable with CC makeup (especially the lipstick), but it happens with EA's stuff as well. Here are a couple comparison pictures.

An sample picture of the issue, with cc skins and cc lipstick on half opacity:

With EA default skins, EA lipstick on full opacity:

With EA default skins, CC lipstick on half opacity:

It's not just lipstick that I'm having an issue with either. It appears to be all makeup, and even the topical details like freckles. Here's a comparison picture of the opacity issue with blush and a facial mask (the freckles).

With CC skins, blush, and freckles:

I also noticed something odd whenever I would zoom in really close to the Sim. Just before she would fade away, her lipstick and the rest of her makeup would appear normal. Here's a picture of what I'm talking about.

With EA default skins, CC lipstick on full opacity:

I've tried fiddling with my graphics card settings, but to no avail. I messed with the anti-aliasing and texture filtering, as well as fooling around with some of the settings in the game. When those pictures were taken, all my settings were on the highest level. Any advice is appreciated. :)

Does anybody have any ideas? It's very frustrating not to be able to use makeup on my Sims. I did some more testing, and I found out that apparently the color and particular style of lipstick affects the quality. I took some more pictures to illustrate what I'm talking about. All of these screenshots were taken with new user files and only makeup, custom skins and eyes, and a few cc hairs installed.

This is with a custom lipstick with three different colors on the three different channels. Quality is bad but not horrible.

This is the same custom lipstick with the same color in the primary channel, but that color is used in all three channels now. Quality is awful.

Here is a side-by-side picture of two Sims wearing the same custom lipstick but in different colors, opacity is on 100% for both of them. The lipstick on the left looks flawless but on the right it looks horrid (same as above).

This is a closeup of the lipstick of the girl on the left. It's an EA preset color combination (if that makes a difference), and the quality is, again, perfect.

Here are some photos of different lipsticks in the same color (all three channels with one color) by EA and two different cc creators. As you can see, some of them appear alright (but not perfect) and some look awful.

By Elexis, quality is okay.http://i1038.photobucket.com/albums/a466/colleen_davis/Screenshot-10-1.jpg
Another one by Elexis, quality is bad.http://i1038.photobucket.com/albums/a466/colleen_davis/Screenshot-11-1.jpg
By HP, quality is poor.http://i1038.photobucket.com/albums/a466/colleen_davis/Screenshot-12.jpg
By EA, quality is poor.http://i1038.photobucket.com/albums/a466/colleen_davis/Screenshot-13.jpg
By EA, quality looks okay at first glance but is actually pretty bad as well.http://i1038.photobucket.com/albums/a466/colleen_davis/Screenshot-14.jpg
So, my question is- Does anybody know much about makeup? I mean, why would some of these lipsticks appear just fine and others looks horrible? I'm worried that it's something with my graphics card, but I don't really know. If anyone has any recommendations about settings I could change in game or in the control panel that may help, I would gladly try anything. Any help or advice is appreciated.

Thank you! :)
