I'm just wondering..

Can you take a pic in a Special Event Scene? ( I mean like Cinematics?)

I'm not sure if you can take a picture but I know that if you can record it as a video, but only if you start recording right before the Cinematic begins

Welcome to the site. Within the game, I have not seen pics of a special event scene. I don't know if anyone has tried. I have read there are programs to make screen captures from outside the game. Would that work? Keep this in mind. Pictures are taken when the game is paused. the special event camera shows movies, cinematics that are not paused. It's possible screen captures do not store this data. I had the same problem trying to take a screen capture of a youtube vid. It sounds irrevelant, but i saw it captured the still site, and not the video. That said, I leave your question to a more skilled person.

So...I have to disable the Special Event Scenes to take a pic of it?

If you disable the special event scenes, you simply stop the movie from playing. So when your sim proposes he will drop to his knee still, and the other sim looks happy and takes the ring etc but you don't get the movie. To answer the first question you can take a screenshot during a special event movie. I've taken them during a wedding and arriving at Uni and I've seen other ones around during births as well.

Uh..Here's another quick question..

Is there a way to hide the thing the one with the picture of your sim and needs bars? Because i tried taking a pic i want to put on the Family Portrait at Sims Pictures..but the other four i took got replaced by the latest one -.- and I just want to use the fraps screenshot.

If you use an external screencapping program like FRAPs, you can take pictures during the special events movie. You can't actually pause the movie, so I tend to just hammer my f7 key and hope I get a good shot. XD
