Like the title says, I've been working on this house for a week now. Finally finished. Took snapshots, packed the lot. Cleaned it with CleanInstaller. Everything okay. (PS I did this all with an AnyGame - UN NL OFB P SSN BV FT AL H&M IKEA K&B).
Now I installed an AnyGame 2 (the same configuration). Dragged the file on the icon, everything installed sucessfully. Went into the game, made new neighborhood, placed a house, and then... ENDLESS LOADING SCREEN. C'MON EA!!! :faceslap:
This seemed weird also, in packed lot - in CleanInstaller - there was no Invisible Driveway Recolor. (Yes, I have put that in DL folder and tried again - no results.)
What should I do? Please :help: dear people! :(

Can you install the lot using AnyGame1 and then edit the lot? If so, then the lot must require some CC which is installed in AnyGame1, but not in AnyGame2.
The game doesn't always package all required CC with a lot. Also, do you remember exactly what you removed from the package using the Clean Installer?

Yes, Mootilda. I used this (http://modthesims.info/download.php?t=257715) as a CC of my house. There was this one file in the .Sims2Pack file that said "tig-metro-windows-wood" and was listed as a recolor. I am aware that I have never used wooden recolor of those windows, so I deleted it. Should I re-pack the lot using AnyGame 1 and then not delete that recolor?
OK, I'm going to do that tommorow, since it's like half past three in the morning right now in Croatia. I guess I've finally reached my limits in playing The Sims 2.

A recolor isn't likely to cause an endless loading screen.
Still, it might be interesting to know whether the uncleaned version of the lot has the same problem.

OK. So. After a long sleep I've restarted the game and followed the steps I wrote above; I repacked the lot.
I opened the lot in CleanInstaller and I left everything checked. But, the Invisible Driveway Recolor wasn't there, again. Why... ?
I uninstalled 2nd AnyGame and installed 3rd one. Then I installed the lot in the 3rd AnyGame. Aaaaand... wait for it...
wait for it...
IT WORKED!! I literally had a mental breakdown. Although loading screen in the 3rd AnyGame was longer than the same in 1st AnyGame, it did work. Thank God. Now, the details.
Since in the .Sims2Pack file wasn't that Invisible Driveway Recolor, I immediately put it in the Downloads folder of the AnyGame. Now I'll test it w/o that recolor. Otherwise, if it doesn't work, in my Download Thread I should list that recolor under CC REQUIRED, BUT NOT INCLUDED, right?
Also, I don't get it why did I need that wooden recolor of the window, since I didn't use it in the house at all. Weird. But still, my house worked! Thanks Mootilda, once again. :)

As I explained above, "The game doesn't always package all required CC with a lot.".
Yes, you can list the CC under "CC REQUIRED, BUT NOT INCLUDED". Another alternative is to just add it to your zip file and tell people to install it in their Downloads folder.
