I've spent ages customising sim state university in belladonna cove, but I want to move it over to pleasantview and have sims there go to it. Is there some way in-game or by moving folders or using SimPE or anything to move the customised uni?

I don't think you can detach a university from one 'hood and attach it to another. What you can do, though, is put any lots you've created in the Lots and Houses bin and reuse them in any neighborhood you want.

This. You cannot take an entire sub-neighborhood of sims and move them around unless you like a nice glass or corruption.

However, as Alexandra said, you can move UNOCCUPIED lots into the bin and use them again for any other college subneighborhood..

Yeah, I should have indicated UNOCCUPIED. :) If they're community lots, no biggie.

You can make dorms and put them in the lots and houses bin.

Dosnt one of Mootildas programs do this? Allow you to take roads and decorations from one hood and replace it on top of another? All lots will have to be replaced/rebuilt after this of course, but If one of her programs do do this then I dont think itll be too bad.

EDIT: Found it.
The HoodReplace program will copy any selection of: terrain, roads, bridges, trees and decorations from one Sims 2 neighborhood to another, completely replacing the selected elements from the existing neighborhood.

The way I can think to go about this is to add a dummy university, using any terrain, dosnt matter since itll be replaced, then replace that terrain with the university that you want to use, then place lots and things.
