View Full Version : Is Late Night still laggy?

I installed it a while back, and uninstalled it because it made the whole game lag. But now it seems fine, I haven't heard of any more rants about it lagging like before. So, did the updates fix the late night lag, or did everyone just use a fix?

Sorry if I'm in the wrong forums, it's my first time to post.

I'm pretty sure Late Night is still laggy, at least mine is, but there are much newer EPs for people to complain about the lagginess of. There are some mods out there that can help the performance of LN, Twallan's Overwatch for example. A route fix for Bridgeport helped my game a little bit, too. Not as much as Overwatch though.

Bridgeport is unbelievably slow. When I played it the first time I ended up moving that sim into Sunset Valley cause it lagged so bad. I would send my sim out at 8am to get a job, the game would freeze for about 5 minutes, and then it'd unfreeze and it'd be noon and she'd just then be getting into a taxi cause the damn elevator got stuck again. I even have Overwatch and a few other mods that should help and the town is still horribly slow, which sucks cause I like Bridgeport a lot. The whole EP itself doesn't really lag my game though, just that world when I play it.

Once you've got Overwatch nuking the demon taxi hoard, and ellacharm3d's fix for Bridgeport's incredibly broken routing, it shouldn't be too bad.

Couldn't of said it better, Lag Buster is a pricey, but probably the best solution.

The EP is a lot less buggy now (or so it seems, no more hoards of vampires) but Bridgeport is still pretty laggy.
