I hope that I put this in the right place and by now, after a week of fiddling with CAW I'm about brainfried. Finally I understand how to mod the CC to make it show up in the MetaData and that's not the problem even if that took me a long time since i was looking in EA file while it was in Origin under program files :| .. Anyway, after going all around the sites and net I finally got my hands on what I need after a ton of problems i overcame, including losing the entire world file i spend the week on, I stumbled on a problem I just can't seem to fix. Maybe I been looking in the wrong places but I'm throwing it out here hopefully someone can help.

See I got SuperCaw from the tutorial here:

http://www.modthesims.info/wiki.php?title=Modding%20the%20Create-a-World%20Tool%20to%20Unlock%20Hidden%20Features

But the problem is that the custom Terrain textures and roads do not seem to show up in this at all. I have placed the .dds files in the sourceTextures file in Documents/EA/create a world, and they show up there, but not in SuperCaw, only in the normal. So I thought that maybe I had to put them in the program files/EA/Create a world tool instead.. no such luck. So I put them in both just to see if that worked but still no go :(

I decided to take it another way and simply edit my world in CAW since that has the textures, so copied the world file from SuperCAW to the CAW file, and that worked perfectly. I did a test with the textures and saved the world to see if the textures would then show up if I put the new colored world back in Supercaw and was simply going to color in one, and edit in the other, but somehow i can get the world file from Super to normal, but not the other way around.. so I am pretty much stuck here with a world that sucks when it comes to coloring .. can someone please help?

I am not clear why you are having problems, as the Super CAW executable will use the same set of userdata as your regular CAW executable. That is to say that, if you run CAW and save a world, that world and all of the textures you used will also be available when you run SuperCAW.

The file path is:
Documents \Electronic Arts \The Sims 3 Create A World Tool \UserToolData
The SourceTextures folder in there is where the terrain textures go.

Can you tell me where you mean by 'copied the world file from SuperCAW to the CAW file'? If you can tell me what you copied, from where and to where it may clarify this.

I clicked 'Save" in Supercaw and copied the world file, putting it in my Sims CC folder i have on my desktop, and put that file in the documents/ea/the sims create a world tool/usertooldata/worlds

Edit: I solved the problem by putting it in the Supercaw file that was new created in the documents file and this made it show up fine, only problem I have left now is to show the textures that are in the package file in CAW since they do not show up in supercaw.

This is puzzling, since the superCAW and regular CAW will use the same set of user data. Are you perhaps using a public (shared) folder instead of your documents folder?
