Crashes When i click on items

Hi i know im new here but could someone please help me? When I play the sims 3 I can Crate a family and Place them in a house. But when i'm in the house and I click on items it will freze and crash. Like when I tell my Sim to go to the bed it will crash. I tryed every thing on you site for help but nothing has worked. Thank you for reading this.

Yet i have to say that Sims 3 is a buggy game. EA must not have the smarts to fix it well. Hope you the best. Play Sims 2 it works better and is not a broken game.

The first thing to try is the Game Problem FAQ (http://www.modthesims.info/wiki.php?title=Game_Help:Sims_3_Game_Problem). What happens at each step?

If that doesn't solve it, go through the Crashing Checklist (http://simswiki.info/wiki.php?title=Game_Help:Sims_3_Crashing_Checklist), and if you still have problems after that, post everything that page asks you to post, especially your specs.
