Quick question about Edit Town Lots.

So I'm trying to modify a world through Edit Town and I'm trying to replace some lots. The size of some of the lots needs to be changed though so I got VelocityGrass's mod for all size lots. My question is however, how can I stop the empty lots I'm placing from snapping to the road? I tried the DisableSnappingToSlotsonAlt on cheat and using the Alt button but they keep on snapping. I want to leave a small area between the sidewalk and the lot but it just keeps on snapping and I'm not sure if there is a way to be able to move them freely.

You could try place a very small lot 1x1 or 2x2, though this will be kinda tricky as it will be covered by the hand so you can't see it, place the lot you want behind it and then remove the first one.

Is there a way to use a cheat like moveobjects on for Edit Town? Because it doesn't work in Edit Town.
