View Full Version : Romancing the Sim

I'm seriously confused as to how to get more romantic options. I've had this romantic interest for weeks, I've tried to keep up friendship with him, I've worked up to woohooing several times, I invite him over periodically, and I've taken him out on the town. Often group outings that seemed good to me are reported as mediocre (I guess I should get the LTR that fixes that), and no matter what I do, I never get any options to pursue a relationship: confess attraction, ask to go steady, propose, etc. I only know one of his traits, but it's one my Sim shares (brave). I've been wanting to marry him to my Sim. What can I do to unlock these options? I apologize if this has been answered elsewhere, but I can't find it.

I'm seriously confused as to how to get more romantic options. It's that way with me too. Usually it just works, but on occasion I've been relegated to some kind of "friend zone." Have you tried lots of kissing? We've established that kissing is a trigger for Sims acting possessive. Perhaps it unlocks other "being in a relationship" things also.

Make sure the Sim of interest is at least a YA. Teens can't have romantic relationships with YAs, As and Es
