This is a fairly short challenge. Snow White lives through 3 phases, starting with young adulthood. She is a princess with 7 little brothers/dwarves. She will do ANYTHING for true love. She loves her lil Dwarves and tends to stick with just them. The challenge will only last through young adulthood, adulthood, and being a ghost. As a young adult, Snow White bonds with the Dwarves, makes sure that the Dwarves don't die, and the Queen becomes her enemy. The Queen is the person who poisons her in "Snow White and the Seven Dwarves". In this challenge, the Queen eventually kill Snow White off in this challenge. Finally, as an adult, Snow White has a thing for the Queen's fiance. The Queen never knows until the day of the wedding, and kills Snow White off that same day. Snow White is revived by the Queen's fiance and they live happily ever after... except Snow White is a ghost now.
Disclaimer: This challenge was adapted from WhatNow's Cinderella challenge. I liked it a lot, but because I can't stand legacy challenges I decided to make a mini version of the Snow White part :)
Rules:
• You will need to make both Snow White's family and the Queen's family before time. See instructions.
• Snow White is not allowed to get a job. You can't have princess waltzing out into the real world, can you? Make money off of gardening or register as self-employed. You have eight dwarfs to feed and no job-- have fun with that!
• No giving Snow White extra income by cheats. No mailbox cheats ever. No cheats at all, basically, unless I specifically tell you that you can use cheats for a certain part of the challenge.
• Lifetime awards are allowed. No stuff from the Exchange, though.
• This challenge is to be played on the "normal" life span. If you have Generations, don't cheat by making the adult time span really long. That's pathetic :P.
• Once it is time to kill off Snow White, you may use cheats to age up a dwarf into a young adult so that the dwarvlings don't get sent to clipboard.
• The Queen's family is not to be played until Snow White is dead. More on that later.
• Each tasks for a level should be accomplished before Snow White levels up.
• You fail the challenge if Snow White doesn't fall in love with Prince Charming during her adulthood time period.
Scoring system:
-10 for each time she loses a "good friend" status with a dwarf.
+5 for each dwarf that is still her "best friend" on her wedding day.
-1,000 if a dwarf dies while Snow White is still alive. In other words, no killing off Dwarves for fun until the challenge is over :).
+1 for every apple that Snow White harvests. oh, the irony! :D
+1 for every skill level gained of anything
-50 if the repoman pays you a visit. Make sure you pay your bills.
Creating Snow White and her Dwarfs:
• Starts off as a young adult. She needs to be beautiful. Must have the “good” & "green thumb" traits. Plus, you'll want to give her at least one romance-oriented trait since she'll be doing a lot of seducing later. No "mooch" trait allowed. Princesses can't be beggars, it just doesn't make sense.
• Have 7 little brothers (aka Dwarves). All of them should start off at the "children" stage. Each of them MUST have the "slob" trait. It is Snow White's job to take care of these little punks 'cause she loves them. If you would like, you can make Snow White unrelated to any of the dwarves. I don't think Sims allows that, though
• If you think it would be cool to name and give traits to the Dwarfs based of the movie, here you go: http://www.buzzle.com/articles/7dwarfs-names.html
• She is allowed a budget of ___ simoleons at the beginning to start her off. Hint: type in familyfunds + family's last name + amount into the the cheat box. E.g. "familyfunds White 3000".
• I would reccomend using most of the budget on a garden, since that IS the only way she can make money...
• Cinderella should live in a small house (aka cottage) with the Dwarves. I'm going to make mine, but you don't have to.
• Any furniture in your budget will do, but you want to keep it simple for your pocket's sake.
• For an extra Snow White feel, add lots of trees around her house. Those don't need to come from your budget.
Creating the Queen & Fiance:
• in terms of traits, the Queen should be an exact opposite of Snow White. evil is a must, of course.
• the Queen starts off as either an elder or an adult.
• the Queen should be rich. use motherlode
• the Queen needs an awesometastic rich people castle/home. motherlode is your friend.
• once the challenge actually begins, there shall be no playing the Queen or her finace's character until Cinderella is dead.
• the Queen's finace needs to be super hot and a young adult.
• the Queen's fiance is NOT allowed to have the "commitment issues" trait because that would be too easy. sorry about that.
• the Queen's fiance will need a career in Science (level 1). You can use a spawn job cheat if the newspaper has no jobs available. The reason for making the Queen's fiance a scientist is that he will have to revive Snow White later, and he cannot do so unless he is a scientist.
Stage 1: Young Adult:
• MAIN GOAL: Have as much skills, lifetime rewards, and money as possible in order to make life easier. Pay the bills and keep everyone alive.
• She needs get her friend status to "good friend" with the Dwarves immediately. She is not allowed to start making any other friends or a job or any kind of until the Dwarves are at least her friends. She should build & maintain the "good friend status" before becoming an adult. If it drops, minus points. The Dwarves are her main priority.
• She should try to build skills that will let taking care of the Dwarves be easier. She alone provides money for the house.
• Snow White is only allowed to MEET the Queen's fiance. Don't take it past "acquaintance", though.
• Snow White is not allowed any boy toys yet. She's too dedicated to the Dwarves. Plus, it's a fairy tale. She has to get love right on the first try, remember? :)
• Snow White is not required to always have a clean house, but it sure won't help her moodlets if her house is dirty (since she has seven slobs running around).
Stage 2: Adult
• MAIN GOAL: meet the queen's fiance (aka Prince Charming), fall in love with him, and get married before Snow White becomes an Elder.
• It's mid-life crisis time. Snow White is already starting to wrinkle and she hasn't quite met Prince Charming. And that is precisely when she meets the Queen's fiance and decides he is her true love-- she won't have it any other way. Plus, the Queen has tried to kill her multiple times, and it's Snow White's turn to get revenge.
• By this time, the Dwarves should be teenagers. If they are, they are allowed to get part-time jobs to support the family. If not, don't rush their childhood. Let it be.
• At adulthood it becomes mandatory to lust for the Queen's finace. Remember: no one else will do.
• You must keep the relationship with him completely secret from the Queen. She is not to know until Snow White mistakenly sends her an invitation to their wedding.
• No children with Prince Charming, since the Queen will probably notice if their is a shrieking child running around her house. Just sayin'.
• On wedding day, Snow White dies at the hands of the insanely jealous pre-made enemy. preferably a death involving apples, or lack of :). This has to happen during the bachleor's party or wedding itself. If you don't know how to throw a wedding party, go do some serious googling.
Stage 3: Ghost
• MAIN GOAL: Raise Snow White from the dead. In the movie, all the Prince has to do is kiss her, but that would be too easy, wouldn't it?
• Let's admit it, we all miss Snow White. Except for maybe the Queen, but nobody likes her anyway.
• You are now playing Prince Charming, since Snow White is dead...
• You are allowed to break up with the Queen... but it's only fair that she takes the house. You can either live by yourself now or move in with the Dwarves. Or, hell with it, just kick her out of the house. Personally, I'm going to play around with the Queen's feelings until it's time to revive Snow White, and THEN break up with the Queen.
• Where ever you end up living, Snow White's grave goes with you. Fun, right?
• To revive Snow White, build up your Science career. Eventually you will get an oppurtunity allowing you to revive Snow White. Basically, to succeed in this part work needs to be front and center.
• Have a happy ending with optional ghost babies xD
