i know its not the awesomeness of the mansion i spent days on that is crashing my game whenever i try to load the house (not at startup), its the crazy polygon count that i didnt think about when gardening. it opened fine for the first few days but now it wont.
i tried moving a character in, because when you move the person out all of the items inside the house are removed, but the game crashed when it tried to load the house autonomously when i moved them in.
i dont want to/cant rebuild this house, so i was wondering if there was any way that i could open the house, any way at ALL.

Sims 2 or Sims 3? When it's TS3 you could sned me the house and could do some tweaking on it, say, the garden. Only if you want it, ofcourse ;)
Besides that, I don't know what to do else, so no big help, sorry.

Try turning your graphics options down to minimum and see whether that helps.

Zandvoort's idea wasn't a bad one, although he had the wrong game. Perhaps it would be helpful to see whether someone else can load the lot, or whether it crashes for everyone.

it wasnt a bad idea. it probably would load on a desktop, because most laptops arent made for gaming.
How would i find someone?
And if i find someone, how would i send them the lot? there is alot of custom content (and i have no way of figuring out which ones were used)

If you have a lot of CC, perhaps the first thing that you should do is to backup your save game and remove all of your CC. If the lot loads like that, then start adding CC back in to see whether you can get the lot to load with most of the CC in place.
When you package a lot, the game might include most of the CC that's needed to play the lot. It's a reasonable thing to try, anyway. You can attach it here or share it via a file sharing site, and ask people to let you know whether it will load for them. You'll also have to let people know which EPs and SPs you have installed.
