All hair colors equally hereditary

Ugh, I'm pretty sure I've seen something like this before, but I can't find it, my mind is drawing blanks on what to search for. (Yes, I did some googling but couldn't find anything.) My sims won't inherit red hair from their mother, only brown hair from their father. I don't want hairs more dominant or submissive than other colors. Are there any mods to fix this?

Just a minor correction - in this case the correct term is "recessive" not "submissive."

There are instructions on how to combine them for the wanted genetics. All recessive or dominant will make all hairs equal. If you don't want a hair color you can make the rest dominant, or if you only want one hair color inheritable you can make the rest recessive.

Blond and red are as default recessive to brown and black (although sometimes it seems like black is dominant to brown in most cases, and blonde is to red, as the sims in my game only rarely ends up with red hair if there's blond and red haired parents, and more often than not gets black hair between black and brown...)
