I am at my wits, I have been trying to brush these poor sims teeth all night, when i go to use the mirror to brush teeth itjust skips my sim out of action , i have no hack mods for anything related to brushing teeth or mirrors and ive very recently ( this week) went through all of my downloads so it SHOULDNT be a custom content issue ive done the usual checks and im just stumped, it seems the brushing teeth function would be basic, its like the animation just isnt there or something..so confused T_T

Does this happen to all sims, or just in the one household?

This is computing. Just because it shouldn't be something, doesn't mean it is. And a hack doesn't have to be obviously related to an issue to cause that issue.

I had a blouse once that would cause the game to crash if a sim was wearing it when she took a photobooth photo. How much sense does that make? Or how about the Saved Sim who crashed the game every time I used the wardrobe function, even though it was a sim of my own creation that I'd extracted myself, hadn't put into any neighborhood yet, and wasn't wearing any CC?

It doesn't have to make sense to be true.

well im not argueing that, more or less im just fishing if anyone else has had this issue maybe we have a common problem, a similar object or something. It is all households it's doing it in with all sims , all other mirror, wardrobe, and bath features work fine , it is really throwing me for a loop

You won't know for sure until you do some testing. First thing to try would be to back up your game, then remove your Downloads folder entirely and see if you still have the issue. That will tell you whether or not it's a CC issue, and you can go from there either to this, if it IS CC

or this, if it's something else.

Rather than speculate if it's caused by CC, test it out! If you go through the faqs linked by Darby you'll know wether or not it's caused by CC or something else instead of having to guess.
