Hi! I searched and searched and couldn't find anything in the FAQs so I hope it is okay to post question here.

I noticed a lot of folks have snapshots that look like ... I guess it is POLAROIDS (?) ... actual pictures of their SIMS. Anyways, I thought maybe that was something from the Special Events Camera. I tried to select the "on" button for that camera and it won't let me. Is that a function that comes avail only after a "special event"? In other words, whereas I can select on/off for several other things, the on/off for that function is disabled and I am not allowed to choose it.

Also, how are folks framing their pix to put up inside their SIM houses? SIM Bud (one of my characters) painted a really nice picture of Moon. I can put the picture in the house but it looks odd not having a frame. Is that a possibility?

I appreciate any and all help. I am EXTREMELY new to this but am already addicted!

Thanks, Moon

It's a tripod camera that allows you to take photos of your sims. It comes w/ University as a career reward.

Moonchild64, the special events camera is what shows, well ..."special events"! You know , things like engagement proposals, baby births, alien space ship abductions, etc. If it is greyed out this means your graphics system will not handle it. If you have your graphics acceleration set to full, you would need to either update drivers, or more than likely upgrade your graphics card. idtaminger is correct about the tri-pod camera. It will frame your photos.

**EDIT** I just noticed that you only have sims2 listed for your games, if you do not have university this camera is not available.:(
