Yeahh.. hey again. Umm I just wanted to know if anyone would be interested in this screen door Ive had laying around for a few weeks. The mesh and textures are done, just the diagonal has to be completed.

The mesh is composed of two subsets I guess. The screen/glass and then the aluminum frame. It comes in all of the Maxis colors, including grey and blue. Why blue? Because I felt like it. I just have grey (default mesh color) and black pictured.

If anyone has any suggestions or just general comments they'd be appreciated.

I like the screen door ~~ I think it'd be lovely if you made it available for d/l. Thanks!

I was just thinking of a door like that the other day actually. Except I was wondering if it could have the screen door as you have, and then have another part of the door inside. I myself have a screen door for use in warmer weather, with an interior insulated door.

But your screendoor is great (just like your windows), if it were on the lower cost it would be perfect for the stereotypical trailer park homes, especially with a slightly rusted white version.

oh for the love of all that's holy!! I've been dreaming of a screen door for ages! Those look purrrfect!

HugeLunatic - your right it would be cool with the "inner" door too, I'd love it if there's a way too have a purely "decorative" "regular" door on the inside - but that inner door would be permanently "open" - you know what I mean? The inner door being a seperate object though, so we could use it or not use it...

hmmmm wonder if I used enough "quotation" "marks" in my post?

Hmmmm.. Excellent ideas here. I know what you mean by a decorative door. I suppose that the screendoor could be the main mesh as it is now, but then the inner door could be one of my older door meshes. Instead of making it a seperate object make it a part of the screendoors frame. By using the frame, it will not open with the door and will act as a seperate subset. Then it could be recolorable either invisible and/or the rest of the maxis colors. I'll try it tonight, but I only have 2 hours.

Wow. That has the perfect "inside" door. So do sims walk through that inside door? Is it possible to move the screen door further to the outside? Leaving more of the "threshold" part of the door visible on the inside?

The door handle (of the screen door) looks a bit small/thin, other than that i like it!

It looks great

Would it be doable to have the wooden door even more open? In my head I picture the door all the way open and against the wall... know what I mean? Or 2 versions one with the door more open so we could have both options...

Either way, when I look at your door I can almost hear the *smack* sound that old screendoors make when they smack shut... dang it'd be so awesome if it actually made that sound in the game...

Wow, I'm impressed and would download it, too. Got to have it in white. Hey, what about a light wood version, too?
