I've figured out how to solve the randomness issue. A private group. I'll set it up.

I dont think it would work like that. All the posts from Private groups still show up, and it's more annoying when people cant see what they are talking about.

there is no way you'll get every member of Nintendorks to use an IM chatroom. it. just. won't. work.

I agree with Corrie. Even when you create a private group, the posts still register. You just can't see the actual content of the posts unless you are in the group.

PLAN B: I have a forum, but it's not totally set up. I have a secondary forum that is less fancy (lacks avatars) that could substitute for the time being.
