My little brother is going into first grady the 24th..(His school is being split into two schools - upper grades and lower grades, a first for round here)

In my school district they are going to merge two of the high schools and merge one of the elementary school with the middle school. That should be fun

Starting high school on September 8th - the day after my birthday too!
Nervous? Yes! I was looking at all your dates in August - do you all live in the US or something? Our summer break is the last half of June, then July and August, and the first week of September always. It's a law or something here. Going to school in August! *shudders* I think that two and 3/4 months is short for break, and you guys barely get one at all! I guess I should be thankful for living in Canada where Thanksgiving is in October, Halloween break is a week long and we get all of December off for Christmas break!
