I learned how to adjust my voice to be sweet and seductive. I can say in a sing-song manner "Oh, lover..." in this voice. I can charm a man with this voice.

I re-learned that when I am bored by conversation, I don't try to hide it. Yup. I find people inane.

I learned that I was conceived a few days before my parent's wedding and my mum found out she was expecting me 2 day after the wedding, I've only just asked about it today.

I learned today how fabulous an avocado-honey-lime juice facial feels. I had a few avocados that were headed for the trash or on my face, I chose my face. I also learned that I don't like eating plain avocado at all (why I almost threw them away).

Must look up some recipes to disguise the green jewels for the next time they find their way onto my kitchen counter.

I learned I'm crap with Spanish verb tenses, especially the subjunctive. I also learned that four leaf clovers are incredibly abundant on this campus; in addition to the original five or so I found I found four more and today found an additional couple, and my friends found one each as well.

If it's any consolation, I suck at verbal conjugation in Japanese. Seriously!

I learned that if you want to bake a 6-layer cake, do it as soon as you wake up. I let time get away from me and well...let's just say the last time I did anything while drowsy, I made a bigger mess than when I started.

I learned this a couple days back from a European-focused travel show: Norway, although lenient for a socialist government, but have a royal family, has a pretty sweet social deal: pay half your money from work in taxes and you're given a safety net of healthcare, housing and education in times of need.

This led to me and dad debating the nuts and bolts of such a deal if America was presented the choice to give a guarantee that no one suffered because of hard times.

Learned that my mother is not the mother scorpion who will eat me for not leaving home at age 18.

She told me it was no reason to starve myself over dirty dishes I made.

To never wear a limited edition T-Shirt to an event involving transporting food. Was at a fundraising event and one of the frozen lasagnas I picked up wasn't completely frozen and the juice in it spilled all over me. All down the front of my shirt and pants, in my pants pockets. It was bad. :c And we don't own a washing machine so I have to wait to wash them. The shirt is black, I'm just hoping the white text on it isn't permanently orange now.

Don't dote on a guy who isn't participating in any significant growth in a relationship.

Although Vincent was the type to give me a hand at whatever I needed help in, he just didn't seem to put all his heart into it. It was like he was phoning it in.

But the fact he paid some attention to my favorite kinds of gifts wasn't all that bad. A Dear John letter apologizing for any promises not met, fancy chocolates and some tasteful nude photos? Sounds like a nice severance package. The last guy before Vincent was a hook-up. Still, the more awkward moment was finding my hook-up on Facebook.

I have been fine, just confused about how normal relationships work. I'm not sure, but from my knowledge of sitcoms that gravitate towards the concept of various types of relationships, break-ups are more emotionally devastating.

I think that's the finest piece of wisdom I've heard all week. It runs very closely to my personal favorite which is 'no love is better than bad love'.

@Eronel

regarding your t-shirt and tomato sauce stains.

Soak the t-shirt in warm water before laundering in a solution of 1 quart warm water, 1/2 teaspoon dishwashing detergent, and 1 tablespoon white vinegar for 15 minutes.

it's worth a try and several places on the Internets suggest a similar way of helping with tomato sauce stains.

That's ambiguous. It could me that "bad love" is the best love of all loves with none better; or that the state of not being loved is better than bad love.
