Bio: When injured in the line of duty and granted leave from the force for a year, Cam's sister Catherine persuaded him to take part in her community theatre group to take his mind off the long recovery. That year gave Cam a chance to realise he needed some changes in his life, and it was a short hop from theatre to full time acting. Despite his old injury, Cam insists on doing his own stunts.

With Darker Than Night, director Marco Del Piero continues his move from slasher flicks into more serious thriller territory, and Cam brings some much needed gravity to the role, his second under Del Piero. "Cam's got a good head for authenticity," Del Piero states in interview. "I remember in The 25th Hour [Simmy award winner] we did a scene in a blood splattered room. Cam walked in, took one look, and started laughing. I'd gravitated back to B-grade horror with stupidly unrealistic amounts of gore."

Michael Tassos appears to be a normal man. He has it all: well paid job, beautiful wife, adorable daughter. But everybody has a past and Michael is no exception. Most people in his new, clean cut world don't even realise it's possible to sink as low as he's been.

Meeting Lauren and having Mia changed everything for him.

But when someone uses his original name, ready to call in an old debt, Michael reacts without thinking, taking advantage of a secluded back street in the dark of night. No one in his new world would shoot an unconscious man in the head with his own gun. None of them would calmly wipe their hands clean and pull their jacket back on to hide the stains on their shirt. Michael regrets, but with blood once again staining his hands, is regret enough?

Because he will do anything to keep his secrets, even if it means turning on Lauren and Mia when they skirt too close to the truth, for Michael is no stranger to killing those he loves.
