It has come to our attention that you seem to be one of us. You believe that a proper night out means more than dancing and drinking. A proper night out comes with a proper conversation too. That is exactly what the Adorno has to offer you!
At first glance you might suspect that The Adorno has nothing more to offer than your average commodified nightclub experience, but look again! The pink wall might lure you in with its flashy dancer-wallpaper, but in fact, the dancers are performing a modern dance routine with a radical statement.
Upstairs is where the real fun is happening. Get on your soapbox and turn your spoken word into a form of art or sing a little song if you feel up to it. Yeah, the books on the walls, they are fake, but hey, at least you can spend evenings debating with your mates what the hidden philosophical meaning behind that one is!
(I should probably also mention something about the amazing coffees the barista serves, and the incredible trashcompactor that can be found under the counter, but that would be waaay too practical)
If you are looking for a more bodily experience, take a look around at the rooftop. There are always one or two students around willing to trade their breakdancing skills for another skill that you might teach them. Stargazing perhaps?
Even though the staff are students and more than willing to work through their break if that makes them more money, they still deserve a little room of their own. It comes equipped with a coffeemaker, dishwasher AND trashcan.
We do kindly ask you to take your heated debates outside, have a smoke and think it over so that we can keep The Adorno the friendliest nightclub on campus!
Did you have so much juice that you can't talk, think or walk straight? Circle through our Patio of Sculptures and let the works of art do their healing wonders.
This should meet the requirements of the nightclub. I have fully playtested the lot, and have not come across any routing issues, not with the stairs and not with the loos. Even though the DJ booth is set on stage, sims can still dance to the music on the dance floor.
For this round, I have chosen to use CC walls and floors.
ETA: I have used all 20 wall pieces that we were allowed to add.
- 6 walls added to create the two pillars at the front-left-facade. On top and in front of the pillars are stages with hedges on top.
- 3 walls added next to the front door, one on the left to box in the community phone, and two on the right of the door to make the bathroom larger
- 11 walls added to create the overhang on the second floor.
