When she came back from the theatre her single room was ready. It was, as advertised, small but comfy. And she woke up in the morning to a view of the beach.
In the breakfast room she had a delicious and fully home-made breakfast.
After that she explored the house and the lovely garden. The B&B was in a lighthouse which was still working.
It had it's own small landing stage and guests could go on a boat trip.
There were two terraces for the guests and a barbeque.
In the garden she found more opportunities for the kids to play and for the grown-ups to relax (or to play as well).
Guests were not allowed into the machine rooms, but the host let her peek into his kitchen instead, where he made breakfast every morning.
In the common room she found a bookcase, a table for domino and a kid's corner, also a board with the latest news on weather and local happenings and venues.
Besides her room the B&B offered two double rooms and a family room. Each room had en suite bath room and a separate entrance for a maximum of privacy and independance. While the accomodation surely was low budget, qaint and not the latest chic, it was clean and homely. Some of the rooms even had been renovated lately.
The Buckthorn room (sleeps 3). A crib could be added on request.
The Lavender Room was located within the lighthouse and featured one of those all-in-one-bathrooms that became affordable some years ago.
