Charmful: very nice. Use of different wall textures in the main room and pops of color scattered throughout keeps your lot from being the boring monochromatic. My only complaint is that the lack of an awning or umbrella in the blazing hot sun would keep me from spending time outside until after dark.
Charmful: Remember to angle your pictures in a way that makes the most use of the space. You could zoom in a lot further on your whole lot floor plan shot if you changed the angle of view 90 degrees. Good landscaping, nice to see terrain paint work and attention to detail on a desert lot. The exterior of the house is a little disjointed, with the different colors and directions of paneling. Using different colors can be great, but here it clashes rather than blends together. I like the detail of the arches above the entrances to the bedrooms. The floor-height windows are a bit strange, especially the ones in the toilet area. Play-wise I’m not sure about having just one toilet, and making Sims walk the furthest to get to it since it will get the most use. Other than that good playability.
Charmful: What an interesting building, I like it a lot. Is the pool built into the foundation and is it usable? My only slight criticism is the curb appeal is low. The front is very plain and the low set windows are almost hidden from view behind rocks and plants. Perhaps some vertical windows could have been used at each end or a row of high set windows used instead to help break it up.

Maxon: Please attach your pictures to the post, it makes judging much easier. Certainly looks like a ski-lodge, from the boxy shape with balconies that run the length of the house to the overuse of wood it all screams ski lodge. Great use of terrain paints, I especially like the path to the sauna. Landscaping is good, and the combination of wallpapers work well together. The windowed-exterior walls of the restaurant are a nice touch, very scenic to have your meal looking out into nature and the mountains. Well thought out layout of the entrance floor, though kitchen is perhaps a tad far away from the dining area. On the interior the walls, floor and roof blend in a bit too much which makes the rooms feel smaller than they really are. Ski lodges are certainly often wood everywhere, but when everything is wood the shades of wood are important to help provide contrast. Decorating is a tad sparse too, but I imagine that’s because of budget. I appreciate that rooms have color
Maxon: Looks like a warm and cozy place to stay. I like the coordinating suit colors and the outside landscaping. The actual build seems a bit simpler than your usual offering. Maybe some winter deco like skis or toboggans could have been added. Also would be worried about all those flower boxes with the snow.
Maxon: Just an all-around wonderful lot. Interesting in that it's Italian with a German name.... of course, close proximity to Germany. I'm terrible at skiing... you would find me in front of the fire with a book and a glass of wine.....

justJones: I have never been in an outdoor hot tub while it's snowing but since snow is cold and the hot tub is warm I can see the appeal. Love the colors and rustic charm. Could you do an overhead of the garden next time?
justJones: The front view is rather interesting, and the shape of the house creative. However, the balconies gives it a rather boxy feel despite the house shape. The landscaping is pretty, but a tad basic. The color scheme feels rather monotone, with birch everywhere (floor, fence, furniture etc) and shades of grey and beige all over. It lacks contrast to make things stand out from each other. You’ve used the space well on the interior, but the balconies are unnecessarily large. Nice to see a vacation home intended for large families.
Just Jones: The birch exteriors just make the look of this lot. Great interiors and exteriors.... understated luxury... Love it!

Justpetro: Your idea is solid. Since this is a nod to the indigenous people, interiors should be colorful, fabrics should have tribal prints... the use of concrete / wood floors would be quite limited... you would expect to see clay tile... Instead of the concrete and metal tower... shouldn't it be poles and thatch?
Justpetro: Interesting lot, love the artwork on the outside walls and the twisting star gazing tower. While I know you didn’t just toss down the beds it kind of looks that way especially with the dining area and open wardrobe all in the one room. I think some shelf bunks, maybe a pull out type bed that attaches to the wall would look more professional for a hotel, perhaps with a half wall or fold up divider to separate the eating area off.
Justpetro: While cut up floor plans allow you to zoom in closer, it makes it hard to put things into correlation with one another. So consider having one picture of the whole lot with roof down, not just pictures of each individual structure. Additionally, given your story and the motivation for the exterior walls it would have been nice with a closer up picture so one could actually see it. It is very interesting from a cultural perspective, and very appropriate for the desert theme. However, it is rather basic in terms of build and decorating (interior, exterior and landscaping is well done). It is probably appropriately basic compared to reality, but it is a build contest and you have to show off your skill and I don’t feel this lot allowed you to do that.

Karen Lorraine: Wow.... just wow!
Karen_Lorraine: I love all the colors. Given that it’s Morrocan there are a lot of patterns going on that you mostly got away with it except in the hot tub area. For my eyes it was a bit too much probably because there is nothing plain for relief. Even with that I would love to stay there.
KarenLorraine: Wow! The theme ambiance is great, and the decorating is breath-taking. The attention to detail and the care put into blending colors and patterns is really outstanding. Great use of CC, both in the choices made and how you used it. The landscaping is a tad basic, but it’s clear you’ve tried to counteract that with the decorative pools and the palm trees. I would have considered using stages or something on the roof, looks a bit weird when the windows go all the way to the very edge of the structure but I realize that’s partially because of the build limitations in Sims. There are a few choices in items that don’t quite blend in, but over all really stellar job on this lot!

CatherineTCJD: Gorgeous landscaping! I’m not sure about the choice of that modular stair in terms of theme-appropriateness, but the foliage and the shape of the house is spot-on. When it comes to the interior there are some weird choices made that don’t quite fit the atmosphere. The rooms do look rather asian, but the entrance floor significantly less so. The windows, the wallpaper, the choices in furniture is rather jumbled in that area. The restaurant is very pretty, and the aquarium very creative.
CatherineTCJD: Very pretty, I love the curved bridge and the blossom trees. How did you do the restaurant fish tank? It looks like fish inside of it and it’s also real pool water, impressive.
CatherineTCJD: Love it.... great landscaping and decorating. Being immersed into the pond in your lower level is so unique....

Freelala: I love what you did to the landscaping here with the varying terrain and a swimmable pond-good going! The bear looking out is a cute touch. Very nice, your best lot yet.
Freelala: A lot with history... wonderful use of terrain and terrain paints. The low ground cover/wild flowers reminds me of Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado... Overall...very immersive...you do feel as if you are there at the ranger station.... The only thing missing would be real bears and wolves... maybe, a moose or two....
Frelala: Deceptively simple build. Looks basic, but with lots of details that show it isn’t as basic as it may look at first glance. Great concept, great execution. Lovely landscaping, both in terms of shaping the land, the terrainpaint and the greenery. Swimmable pond is a nice bonus. The room itself is a tad basic, it’s clear you did try to add in whatever deco you could but in fairness to other applicants you get a small point deduction. I appreciate that you’ve thought to not include anything that would wake Sims up given it’s a single room setup. All in all I think you did a great job bringing this concept into the Sims world and making it make sense from a Sims perspective.

Yvelotic2001: I like the beams above the bar, the pergola and the inside touches of brick walls. The bar area is nice. The inside could have done with some more decorative touches, a bit more to catch the eye since a lot of the walls are quite bland and cream. With some money to play around with, the rooms could have been more exciting rather than budget hotel looking. People who visit vineyards are often looking for luxury. There is also a style clash with the modern overhanging building with the countrified fencing. A flat roof looks more finished with some edging and brick or concrete around a pool also makes it look more finished since they are not normally surrounded by grass.
Yvelotic 2001: It's a good lot... it just needs to be decorated
Yvelotic2001: Build is 4 because it’s okay in terms of roof and symmetrical, but it’s not that interesting. Deco is 2.5 because there really isn’t that much landscaping going on and the interior decorating is very basic, so it doesn’t feel like it deserves more. The winery area is nice, but that’s one room in the entire lot and one room does not a whole lot make. Playability 4 because there is a lot of empty big areas with no deco even. Theme is 3 because it is a jumble, feels more tropical than country. So it fails on ambiance or deco and then the final point (it ends abruptly so will need her to add because it isn't there for some reason? Perhaps didn't save at that point)
