I'm not sure if these two annoying oldies came with Nightlife exclusively, but I want to BLUDGEON them. First is this old white-haired guy - I THINK he's Mortimer, but I think he had a different name. My sim was getting dinner ready and everyone else was eating out by the pool, and he ran up to her and shoved her. Which made her cry. :[ Then he walked out of the house, but five minutes later ran back to do it again. Will locking my door help or do I have to forever punish him by leaving him in a doorless room and no toilet?

Then, since you all know what Crumplebottom does, here's my question for both of these old farts: WHY does any poke, shove, or insult, or general 'piss off' action fade out everytime I try it? Why aren't we allowed to get them back? :steam:

That's odd, since you should be able to.

You can't interact with Mrs. Crumplebottom, I know that. You can get a mod to remove her. As for Mortimer, he only does that if you spy on him with the telescope.

You want to lock the door "For Household only". Better yet, just build a fence around your telescope with a gate "for household only". Watch Morty run and complain that he's blocked off. Ha ha, Morty!

Well, I'm definitely getting revenge on Crumplebutt, but as for Morty that didn't have anything to do with it. I had moved into my house and finished furnishing it about five minutes before he came, lol.

Another suggestion is, to try and make them friends, especially Mortimer. After you pass the 20 points, he is very nice fellow. I do it for him and for Vidcund Curious in Strange town (nice 3 points). After that I have no problems, unless I look on the telescope at day time.
You can use the Insimenator for this.

I suggest the sweetest revenge for mrs. crumplebottom... though it's a hack and I'm not sure if it will work on Mrs. Crumplebottom herself...

There is an object hack at simwardrobe.com that you can download... It's an interactive Mrs. Crumplebottom's purse! You can whack away at a sim all you want. I tried this with the cow mascot and she hasn't come back yet and it's been at least three sim days!

Just a suggestion. :evilnod:

EDIT: making FRIENDS with them?! Never! It's enemies all the way! Revennnge is minnnee!! :D

Don't kill Mrs. Crumplebottom! It will mess up your game! So be lenient in your revenge.

Uchuujin, seems that you have never played The Sims 1.... I still have a heart for the Goths, and never can see them as enemies. You should see what a wonderful father was Mortie there, taking care of bashful and sweet Cassie, and his big love for Bella. They were one of my favorite families.

TS2 made him a tedious old croock - I will never accept that....

In Sims 1 Mortimer did have the bad habit of teasing everybody with that silly sock puppet of his. Only one of my sims actually didn't mind that. The rest kept getting offended. I just assumed that when Bella vanished she took his puppet with her and he went on to bigger annoyances.

But I still like him.

I am Ghost. My husband (who made the account because I was too shy) is sidneydoj. I post, he downloads, and I wanted to keep my post count.

You could try playing the Goth household until Mortimer dies

You could do that but then after Morty dies, John Burb takes his place and pushes and shoves your sims when they use the telescope, and after John dies, the game chooses another sim to do this and so on...

Don't delete or do anything to Mrs Crumplebottom. Your game will be destroyed and you'll have to re-install it.

Aaawww.... You dared to remove Bella to the family bin in TS1? Then don't search for her in TS2 - stop that Bella's obsession of yours....
