Ok, so I've been making Paul Wesley from Vampire Diaries sim for over 2 weeks now and for the third time I've been rejected...
So my dear friends, I will ask you kindly to look at him and point any mistakes or errors that i could fix and be honest as this is my first creation.!!!
Hey I think you've done quite a good job so far already, you can really see the shape of the face and the hair match quite nicely to the real one.
I do think you should maybe take another look at the eyes and mouth. The mouth of your sim seems to be in a sort of permanent scowl and in the pictures you added the guy looks quite friendly. The shape of the eyes is a bit off as well, they are to big and round still to quite match up.
But thats just my 2 cents I'm more of a house builder and I think you have made your sim quite alike already :D
Well, it said that it needs to look more like the real pearson..
And about the mouth - he usually is not smiling (I had the pic that I used, but it was too big, but you can check it here http://images5.fanpop.com/image/pho...87-838-1222.jpg ), this is why it looks like that.
And for the eyes, thanks. It was the hardest bit to make.. :D
Yes eyes can be quite a challenge to get right, maybe you can find some of the premade that have a better baseshape.
You also don't have to give him a superbig smile, just take a look at the position of the corners of his mouth the width and thickness of the lips seem good to me
Douglas Adams Life, the Universe and Everything. - "There is an art, it says, or rather, a knack to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss. … Clearly, it is this second part, the missing, which presents the difficulties."
I think the main issue is that your sim looks too old compared to real Paul - it -might- be due to photoskinning, so maybe try to rely mainly on the sculpt? My other suggestions, at the moment, would be:
- Your sims chin is way too wide at the moment, but that's easy to fix
- Squinter eyes, longer and just a tad closer together.
- Shorter mouth, more pinch to the upper lip and fiddle with the shape some more.
You could try overlaying your sims picture over the real photo (both neutral expressions, face straight into the camera) - this can help you greatly to see all the big or little things that you need to tweak
