Hiya everyone

I have just started having a weird problem with my phones and I don't know what to do! My sim's house got cockroaches (his ex kept kicking the bin over and I didn't notice in time), so I told him to call the Exterminator.

He rang him, talked in simmish and hung up. There was no dialog box from the Exterminator telling me the cost and asking if I want to proceed. The exterminator did not come.

I got his ex to move back in and she tried, same thing.

I sold the phone and bought a new one, same thing.

I moved them into his ex's house and had the exact same problem, but this time I had called the Repairman (the TV had broken).

Just to test, I tried calling the other services:

Adoption=Got problem
Bartender=Works fine
Exterminator=Got problem
Gardener=Got problem
Matchmaker=Works fine
Maid=Got problem
Nanny=Works fine
Obedience trainer=Works fine
Pet adoption=Works fine
Pet give up=Works fine
Repairman=Got problem

Calling other sims works fine.

I have the base game, Nightlife and Pets.

Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated! Thankyou

Thanks I did have a quick peek at that last night but didn't have time to do it. I did some of it today, then I accidentally opened the cd tray and had to re-start the computer (it kept saying put the disk in, when it was already in). It started kind of working then, it freezes a bit first, but then the dialog box does pop up. Fingers crossed!

Thanks x :D

This is weird, but I have done absolutely nothing at all since then, and the problem has completely disappeared now, no freezing or anything! Thanks for reading anyway x
