Is there anybody that is very good at face sculpting.. I have been trying to sculpt a face, but I can't get it right. Something always seems off... I'm a southern Chinese, so I have round inner apex's, practically no nose bridge and slightly darker skin. Can anyone help, or is there a certain tool I can use? I feel this has been asked already by some people as I have seen searching for a tool, however, my post is more directed towards someone who is good at face sculpting that could possibly help me.. I have two people I would like to do. |

Well, I'm pretty good at it, although I do need a picture for it. And not a fuzzy one with bad lighting... It's kinda hard to just make one from your description. I could try though. [email protected]? EDIT: I'm not sure if you'll ever read this being that it was posted over three years ago.

Wasn't there a way in sims 2 I believe that you could upload a picture and it was able to replicate that picture on your sim? Maybe this was just a rumor but that sounds like a good idea. Every time I make me I mean it looks like me, but something is just not right? |

There was a (purchaseable) tool for that, I saw it on Amazon some time ago, and someone I knew was even desparate enough to buy it. But since the TS2 models usually had far less vertices and (polygon)faces, it usually looked like skinning someone and sticking the hide over a generic skull... well, in some cases that may have looked better due to texture (colour) detail, but I'd say that the generated sims usually did not look like the "real thing", I believe mostly due to distortion around the mesh - a picture is 2-D! Imagine wrapping a sheet of paper over a ball... If you are really keen to have yourself simmified, you'll have to approximate your facial geometry with all available / desired sliders (get someone to do some "mugshot" photos of you), and THEN create a face mask or skin that reproduces your personal facial peculiarities like moles, warts, freckles, scars, dimples... whatever, no pun or insult intended. However, all of this does not mean that you cannot get an identifiable representation, there are really good artists out there with a view for the right detail. |
