Downloaded Counters Corners Graphism Issues and Downloaded Tables Glitch [1/2 Solved] #1 |
| pluche56 |
Hello y'all ! I'm having issues with the Counters I downloaded. I didn't modify any of it, considering that I have no idea how to do that :p Somebody was having the same problem as me before, but it seems like it hasn't been solved : http://www.modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=391459 Whenever I put a dishwasher/trash compactor in a counter, or when I want to make a corner, I get this graphism problem that can not be changed via Create-a-Style : ![]() Also, with the tables I downloaded, I get a very annoying glitch, making it impossible to use, the chairs get stuck in the middle, without the possibility to put them any other way : ![]() It might interest you to know that I use s3pe to package all my download in one file (never more than 100 at once) [For instance, I have "MTS Random Objects - Combined", "ATS Random CaS - Combined", Well, you know what I mean n_n] I also use Sims3Pack Multi Installer, and never got through the Launcher to install the .Sims3Pack You might also want to know that I do not use the AwesomeMod. (Not that I don't want to, I just never really got myself into it.) Thank you kindly for helping me ![]() Nvidia GeForce GT 430, version 296.10 My Game should be up to date : Game Version 12.0.273 Base Game 1.33.2 World Adventure 2.17.2 High-End Loft Stuff 3.13.1 Ambitions 4.0.87 Fast Lane Stuff 5.0.44 Late Night 6.0.81 Outdoor Living Stuff 7.3.2 Generations 8.0.152 Town Life Stuff 9.0.73 Pets 10.0.96 Master Suite Stuff 11.0.84 ShowTime 12.0.273 (Sorry if all this is not required, but I'd rather be sure =) ) Feel free to ask if I've forgotten anything ! The chair issue is caused by the table having been made before patch 1.26 was released - that patch changed the way the _RIG resource, used in all custom objects, works, and older CC was broken by the change. You can fix the CC using granthes' Rigfix. The counter issue is a fun one. The best solution (and I say that with a suitable feeling of irony) is to install affected counters as sims3packs via the Launcher. |

Thank you for your quick answer, WhiteRider ! I'll try and use the Fix for the table tomorrow or something, I'll give you news as soon as I tried, even if you seem sure of how to solve that problem. About the counters, I didn't really understand what you meant... Most of the Counters I downloaded were ".package" files, how can I install them as ".sims3pack" ? Sorry if it's a stupid question, I just want to be sure I got you right. Since the Counters I've downloaded are already in Combined Packages, if I download them again, won't I have the objects twice ? And again, Thank you for the time you're taking to help me !

Ok, I'm back. I took some time to give you news, but here I am :D As you suggested, WhiteRider, Granthes' Rigfix worked just fine with the tables ! Fewf, thank you Something inside was hoping it would also solve the Counter Graphic Issues, so it's still a problem that remains. D'oh. Any suggestions anyone ? |
