Hey guys So I am a layman in modding, but I was wandering if there is any way or any mob to edit NPCs' physical appearance (like we do when we use "Wardrobe > Dress visitor" to chance their clothes or something like that). Can ye guys help me out? Thanks

If you mean facial features then you can use the 'edit in cas' mod made by Treeag, or turn de-bug features on in Grim's core to access the function. If you mean clothes, hair and makeup, then you can call the NPC you want to change to a wardrobe to do that. You don't need a mod for this one, it's in the game already. |

Thanks. I have downloaded the Treeag mob "edit in cas", put it in (tsm folder)\Mobs\Packages\ folder along with the resources.cfg document, and the d3dx9_31.dll archive in Bin folder, but still it won't work. Am I doing something wrong? Sorry, but as I said, I am a layman on mobbing :D |

I'm assuming because you keep on writing 'mob' that it's not just a typo. The word is mod....you need to call the folder 'mods' Let me know if you get it to work or not

From what you've written it sounds like your dx file is in the right place, but that you've put the resource file into the 'thesimsmedieval\mods\packages' folder? It should be in the 'the sims medieval' folder. Again let me know if it works or not

Try downloading 'Treeags testing cheats enabled commands' mod. You can get it here http://www.mediafire.com/?71xdjnbcirf7j7i The asking is fine, don't worry about it ![]() You could always use Grim's core mod. If you turn the debug options on in his options page and then click on any sim, edit in cas will be under one of the pie menus. I think it appears under 'sim' but don't quote me on that, it's late and my brain is fuzzy :P |
