I don't like how sims will walk out in the rain with no umbrella. Is there a way to lock a household in a house with doors? I know you can lock other people out, but can you lock people in? If they can't have an umbrella when walking outside, at least maybe I can prevent them from walking outside at all during the rain. I have all EPs and SPs installed in case there is a function or a special door I am missing and you can tell me about it.

They don't get wet, so you could just get used to it. I don't use an umbrella either; I just wear a hat. Why not include a waterproof hat and raincoat in your sims' outerwear?

Do you have Bon Voyage? If so, you could download some umbrellas as accessories, and turn them into BV jewellery with Wardrobe Wrangler. This would then allow you to set jewellery for each outfit - meaning you could make them have umbrellas as outerwear jewellery. It does mean they'd have umbrellas in the snow though.

That's a good idea sushigal, if I wanted them to not have umbrellas in the snow, I could just change their appearance in the mirror. Thanks!

You're welcome. It's something I did with scarves (shoved 'em all in necklaces) so I could actually browse through my accessories in less then a year. XD You would need to buy the jewellery from a stand first though, but there are a few hacks that allow you to buy them from home - Monique's hacked computer is one, and Pescado's clothing tool is another.

Can't you just lock the door completely - to everyone?

Polgannon Project Seriously, I'm still working on it.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure "Lock... Everyone" is an option.

Not sure why, but it is.

Same here, and I keep their energy motive down as well since my sick sims tend to be more likely then normal

On one lot I have a room for entertaining guests. It has a bar, fridge and tables. This stops walking long distances when using the regular kitchen.
