We're trying to hatch some guinea fowl, and I've seen what their babies look like - they look really cute! Funny thing is my mum kept on calling them 'partridges'. Anyone here ever raise guinea fowl?

What do you mean, Blake? Aren't Guinea Fowl everywhere or are you questioning the name? (BTW, I find it weird and amusing that someone "disagreed" with your post).

My aunt used to have guinea hens, she may still. I know nothing about raising them, but they were funny little birds and I loved the pretty eggs.

OP probably got offended by his tone and clicked the "disagree".

Anyway, I don't usually raise birds. Once had a pair of doves, but they weren't well taken care of, and the feathers became yellow with sickness. Gave them away before they died. Seriously, I seem to be able to take care of caterpillars better.

It was supposed to be a joke. I guess my humor isn't very good past 6:30 pm.

I never heard of a guinea fowl before, but, after a google search, now I do.

Your humor may have been fine, we just couldn't hear your voice. Everything comes across as very serious in print.

Yeah, for example, everything I say is serious. I've never used humor before, in text or in person. I'm a robot. Trufax.

With its hulking size, vividly colored tiger stripes and famous red spot the size of three Earths, Jupiter stands out in our solar system like a drag queen in a police lineup of truck drivers.
