Hi all,

I've just come back to playing TS3 after a long break (started a family in the time away lol - went from just me to partner and 2 little 'uns). Looking forward to seeing what's been improved and maybe getting some of the expansion packs.

I remember how to put TestingCheatsEnabled True to get some of the goodies turned on, but only one thing my poor old brain can't seem to remember... I seem to remember there being an .ini or .cfg file you can create in the Bin folder that contains your default "cheats" like this, so you don't have to type them every time you load the game.

And I remember you had to press CTRL+N or ALT+N or something like that on the neighbourhood screen to get some functionality enabled.

Am I wrong, or has it just changed? I had a good look around but couldn't find the link to the file name, so if anyone could just point me in the right direction I can get back to playing.

Thanks in Advance, and it's good to be back.

I never heard of a file like that myself, But I use Master Controller Mod from Nrass Industries, among other things, it allows your game to "remember" certain cheats, then you can just click on them in a list to toggle them on or off

Thanks, I'll check it out.

Maybe I'm thinking of Pescado's aweconfig... Ah well I'll keep investigating.

I remember this from last time I played TS3.... I love customising the game and world so much I think I spend more time tweaking than I ever did actually in game playing. :D
