Hopefully this isn't too spammy, but just delete it if it is, I don't really know where to ask.

I know that package files that have multiple .package.package.package (etc) at the end are usually corrupted and unusable, but what if it's sim content? I haven't found many sims where they don't have at an extra .package at the end and I was wondering if the content on them is still usable, or will it cause problems in my game?

Just rename the file and remove all of the .package extensions except one.

I wasn't aware that these packages were usually corrupt.
