Before I do start explaining, I have done everything that was on the Game Problem FAQ. I had The Sims 2 Double Deluxe (through digital download), University, Best for Business Collection (digital download), and Seasons (digital download) installed. The following are system specs: ------------------ System Information ------------------ Time of this report: 6/22/2012, 15:05:10 Machine name: ASHLY-PC Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601) Service Pack 1 (7601.win7sp1_gdr.120330-1504) Language: English (Regional Setting: English) System Manufacturer: Dell Inc. Along with this crappy integrated stuff I have NVIDA GeForce GT 525M w/ 1GB allotted for graphics. What the laptop does is auto-select which one to use. Is that supposed to show up on the diagnostic?) ------------- Sound Devices ------------- Description: Speakers (Realtek High Definition Audio) Default Sound Playback: Yes Default Voice Playback: Yes Hardware ID: HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0269&SUBSYS_10280446&REV_1001 Manufacturer ID: 1 Product ID: 100 Type: WDM Driver Name: RTKVHD64.sys Driver Version: 6.00.0001.6383 (English) Driver Attributes: Final Retail WHQL Logo'd: Yes Date and Size: 5/31/2011 20:21:28, 2886888 bytes ------------------------ Disk & DVD/CD-ROM Drives ------------------------ Drive: C: Free Space: 781.3 GB Total Space: 933.8 GB File System: NTFS Model: ST1000LM024 HN-M101MBB Okay. Now that that stuff is out of the way. . This all started when I had just started the game and was about to play a household. It loaded and EVERYTHING was going in slow motion. The sims, the camera, the music note effects and "ZZZs" that float above sleeping sims. I didn't notice the snow going any slower then usual, but it could have been since I wasn't paying much attention to it. I went back to the neighborhood view to see if it was doing it there but the camera was moving just fine. I tried another household thinking it might have been just that lot or family or whatever but I got the same results. I figured the game had corrupted or something along those lines and not being very attached to my sims and wanting to start fresh, I uninstalled and reinstalled. This is where my current problem began. What happens is the game launches fine. You get the EA logo and the little intro video then bam. You get a non-responsive loading screen. At first, I thought it was just taking a while (which was uncommon because the load time is usually less than 30 seconds). But then I noticed that the cursor (not the loading, hourglass one) was visible which didn't normally happen when it was first loading. So then I open task manager and end the program that way. So I was thinking it may have been because of the fact that the Business Collection and Seasons had been downloaded from Origin (terrible decision, I know) because a few times I would get a pop-up when trying to launch either of them saying "EC: 5510" and then Origin popping up saying that the game failed to start properly. So I uninstalled those two and tried playing and still it wouldn't load. So I uninstalled University to play just Double Deluxe and it still wouldn't load. So then I tried playing Double Deluxe in XP compatibility mode and ran it as an admin and it still wouldn't load. And that's where I am. Any help at all is much appreciated (Also sorry for the length of the post, lolz) |

That graphics chip isn't up to playing the game, especially if you installed the Store Edition. Here's a FAQ which explains the problem and give you hints about how to avoid completely destroying your computer: http://simswiki.info/wiki.php?title...nboard_Graphics |

I do believe the graphics card that I had selected when playing (which was the integrated graphics) made the slow motion problem but I don't see how it is effecting the non-responsive, not loading problem cause I switched to the NVIDIA card and still nothing so. . Help still needed :D |

Microsoft has that error as: "The FILESTREAM filegroup was dropped before the table can be created.". I'm afraid that's not terribly helpful and I haven't been able to find any suggested solutions from MS: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/...sql.100%29.aspx Note that EA also has some information about that error code, but it doesn't look very useful. http://forum.ea.com/eaforum/posts/list/60/5790.page I would suggest that you contact EA support. |
