I uninstalled Sims 2 and put my neighborhoods in another folder, so they don't get deleted. When I reinstalled it, I put them in the Neighborhoods folder, but they won't show up. I tried to download another neighborhood and put it in the folder and it did show up, but mine won't.

I had to reinstall it before and did the same thing with a neighborhood. It didn't show up the first time, but it did after some start-ups. Now they won't show up, even though I started the game a few times.

Did you patch your new install of the game.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's patched.

When you say you put your neighbourhoods back into your game, you didn't let the files overwrite any folders already there did you?

No, when I put them in the folder there wasn't a message that said something with overwriting. I didn't have any other 'hoods other than the ones that come with the games.

Did you delete the NeighbourhoodManager.package file in the Neighbourhoods folder?

Nope, but I tried to copy it and replace the one in the UserData with it. (I still have the old one backed up)

That's not how you need to do it, you need to delete the one in my doc and then start up the game and the game will make a new one with all the info it needs.

Did you make sure you installed all EP's you had before and not missed one. Did you have the Store Edition before and do you have it now?

You need to make sure you patched ever single CD/DVD you have installed of the single type. (Tri Packs are up to date.)

I would redo all patches starting with the base game and ever EP and the 1 Stuff pack if you have it.
