Default Round 1 -sims2controlfrk
Thirty-six sipsips had elapsed since contact from the High Disciplinarian. Skwint stepped onto the A2000 Intergallactic Vessel for launch prep, displaying the composure and the professionalism expected from a highly trained member of the corp. Colonel Hot-ee granted her permission to enter his bridge.
Skwint: Lt. Level 5B Skwint, alpha-num-Jj8Kll reporting for duty.
Hotz: Welcome aboard my vessel, Lieutenant. D-Geke and D-Ork will show you to your cubicle. You will return to the bridge in 800 ochnons for lift off. I will further disclose the orders from the High Disciplinarian.
Skwint: No disrespect, Colonel, but you are supposed to deliver the instruction packet not disclose its contents to me. This mission is of high importance and for that reason alone, I prefer my orders unfiltered.
Hotz: Lieutenant, your propensity for undisciplined emotions is perceptible…
(Whispers)…Get a grip, Skwint! My subordinates are watching. If I can’t maintain the appearance of order with you, then I can’t maintain discipline with my crew...this mission would be doomed! My head is on the line, too. (Clears his throat and says with authority)…I commend you for your zeal; you will have full access to the documentation on-line during the voyage. I need not remind you again that the A2000 is my vessel and I command a cohesive, well-disciplined unit. You will report back to the bridge in 775 ochnons for lift off and a comprehensive strategic assemblage. That’s a directive, Lieutenant, not a query!
Skwint: Aye, aye Colonel. (She whispers to Hotz as she passes) You may command this vessel, but I control this mission!

The trek to Earth put quite a strain on both Skwint and Hotz, but they were the vision of discipline throughout the voyage for the sake of the crew. Skwint spent many sipsips studying and maintaining feigned civility while developing strategy with the colonel. Hotz spent his few sipsips of leisure, meditating and divining the serenity of At-One for strength while he worked so closely with the lieutenant.

Skwint managed to annoy Hotz to the highest of “pissability” before entering her terra-transport destined for Earth. The degree of pissability became readily apparent to Skwint as her transport bypassed the landing point behind the village church by 15 quirtles and unceremoniously splashed down into the middle of the river.
“Drack-nab-that-Hotz; he did this on purpose,” Skwint thought as she lifted her head from the water and peered out between the reeds. She flicked on the tele-cator and said in a hushed tone, “Lt. Skwint to vessel; the transport has landed and all is quiet…and wet.” It was 2 a.m. Earth-time, and raining. She correctly assumed that the inhabitants of this sleepy fishing village were sleeping. There was not a sound, other than the raindrops splashing into the river. “I will have no problem conquering the primitives, but further investigation is warranted,” she reported. Skwint secured her night-vision goggles and swam to shore.
Skwint surreptitiously made her way over the boardwalk. Though she wouldn’t admit it to Hotz, she felt a little vulnerable as she carefully darted between the streetlights. She was very waterlogged and thoroughly uncomfortable in her wet surveillance gear. The Al’BinoVanian rubber on the soles of her shoes squeaked. The old wooden boardwalk creaked with each footfall. The good thing was that the equipment in her bag was dry and secure. Discipline dictated that she maintained her composure; she was after all, on a mission of mercy for the best and brightest on her planet.
“The mission is the thing. The thing is the mission. The mission is the thing…long live Al’BinoVa,” Skwirt sang under her breath as she took advantage of the rainy, pre-dawn hours. She transmitted scans to the vessel’s databank as she explored the small, empty, cobble-stoned commercial zone. The last report she received from the vessel indicated that the village’s environment was immaculate…”bummer”; however, the evidence of high volume fish entrails and odor would make the village a solid candidate for conquest, red fog, and thus colonization. Skwirt was elated at that bit of news. Invasion was imminent and victory would be hers.

Here's my rushed submission.

The day of my departure came, i felt really scared and nervous wondering what will happen next. i was already having second thoughts to back out. i wish father and mother was here, but no! father was preparing for my departure and mother was at work i guess im all alone here now, no backing out, no escaping. i really wish i didn't agree, but then i thought of my parents, if i back out i shall bring shame to my family and i don't want that to happen, i need to do this. as i think deeper Ail-ah came into my room, she was one of fathers mistress, we were pretty close. "here's your space suite." she offered me, i then flashed her a smile. i guess she got the hint and leaved the suite on my bed she then walked out of my room, then again i was alone wondering deeper, i then smiled and thinked really positive. i then got back my courage and decided to do it. i grabbed the suit and changed. i looked infront of the mirror, fliped my hair and took a deep breath. I then heard footsteps coming from outside to my room, the door opened and entered my brother domino, i haven't seen him for a long time. i got really excited to see him and gave him a hug. "why are you doing this?" he asked. i stepped away from him and turned around. "i also don't know" i replied back, "guess its in the blood." he said and laughed, he came closer and made me face him. "i have a gift for you" he said as he got something from his pocket, he then hand me a chip. "here's an I.C it will help you in earth, just press the four sides to activate. i got it from the lab." i then looked at him "you stole something from the lab?" i said confused, "its not stealing its borrowing, with out this it would be like suicide for you. you don't know anything about that place and your not even military trained. that chip knows everything about earth. it will help you" he replied, suddenly i heard footsteps, he then put the chip in my pocket and hugged me, two of the leaders came. "it's time." they said, Domino then smiled at me, i then followed the two leaders. "goodluck soldier" Domino said, i then flashed a smile and leaved.

I looked around as i walked towards the station, i was hoping mother and father would be there to greet me goodbye but i guess they were to busy. I then entered the ship, it was a transportation ship used by the leaders to go to other planets, i felt like i was a V.I.P, but i really didn't care. two force members came with me to drive the ship. i sat on one of the seats hoping everything would turn out fine, i then wondered what to do when i get to earth, what was the so-called mission all about, why me and why not them. all the questions was circling around me. my thought was broken when the ship started moving, i looked out the window and saw my father standing outside, i felt really happy and smiled. the ship then leaved the station, my courage increased seeing my father out there. the ship then flew out of our planet. as i looked out i saw many planets and many stars around, it was really fun seeing that there was life outside our planet, it was my first time traveling out of our planet and it was really exciting. "so are you scared of going to earth?" a voice asked, i turned around and saw that it was Ai-zen's brother, i didn't know he was one of the ship drivers, "hmm not really" i replied and smiled, it felt really awkward and i felt really ashamed. when his brother went missing i wasn't there instead i grieved in my room and never showed my face infront of their family. "so how's it been since uh... you know" he asked, i bowed my head and replied "its been ok." he then put hi hand on my shoulder "im happy to hear that." he said and leaved. i breathed really hard when he was gone, i never thought he would be like that. i thought he would be angry or something, but glad he didn't. a few hour passed and it felt like days as i sat on one of the chairs without no one to talk to, then one of the pilots came out. "we are already near earth" he said, i then stood up and looked out the window, earth looks really beautiful i then felt excited to visit it.

the ship landed on a very dark place with tall bushy looking things. "good luck!" Aizen's brother said, i flashed a smile and stepped out of the ship. the ship's entrance closed and vanished through the skies. i looked around the place it was really very dark not like our planet were there was always light, i felt really scared but i need to build up my courage.

i walked around but it seemed like there was no exit i tried another round but i still came back to were i landed, i then remembered the chip domino gave me, i pulled it out of my pocket and looked at it. "how does this activate again?" i asked myself, i then pushed one of the side of the chip and it glowed, i pushed another side and that side glowed too, i push the two remaining sides and the whole chip glowed, i then freaked out and threw it to the ground. the chip then started forming, after a few seconds it turned into little girl. "Hi! im A1-260" she introduced. "uh, yeah hi. im Mahin-ru" i introduced back. "looks like your my new master. so what do you like to ask" she said. "uh, were are we and how do we get out of here?" i asked her. "we are in a so called forest surrounded by millions of trees, there's an exit there" she said. "then i think we should get going, this o-called forest creeps me out" i said and we started walking towards the exit she pointed out.

as we walked the robot girl keep looking at me. i then stopped and looked at her. "yes?" i asked. "your suite. its beautiful" she complimented. "thanks." i replied. "its a c4 female suite, created 8 years ago" she said, "uh ok. but we gotta get out of here" i aid and we started walking. the place felt really weird for me, a we walked it felt like there were eyes looking at us. after a few minute of walking i then saw an opening up ahead. i was really happy and walked faster. we then got to an opening i wss really happy to get out if that place, suddenly i saw a blinding light coming from the distance, it came closer and closer until. "sounds of screeching tires"

Default Meeka - Round 1
I, D36 have been selected to travel and explore Earth. Oylians believe earthlings to be primitive and savage creatures that should be handled with extreme caution. As much as I was excited and eager to go, there was preparation work I needed to do in order to complete my mission and to stay alive….

I had been told that the gravity on Earth may be much stronger than Oylus so I had to spend days in the CRONGRAVATRAP spinning round and round getting use to this part of the simulated Earth environment. Even though I had read and been told about what would happen, it still wasn’t what I expected. The first time I tried this, I was so sick afterwards. I felt like I was being crushed, it was hard to breath and everything just would not stop spinning - I could see four of everything! As well as suffering from quad vision and terrible sickness, I had many cuts and bruises from being thrown out of the crongravatrap. I did not recover for 3 days but knew that all this pain was worth it as I had been specially picked for this assignment. I could not fail. I am doing this for me and for Planet Oylus.

As well as being physically trained, I had to be mentally trained so that I could cope. I spent time with family, reassuring them that I would be safe and would return to them when the mission was complete. My family are so proud of me and my little sister D38 even made me promise to bring her back something called a ‘teddy bear’.

I studied harder than before. I needed to learn everything I could about earthlings and their world. I had some help from some great friends who quizzed me on things, explained habits and sayings that I didn’t know about and even told me rather scary stories that they have heard.

Friend A: Did you know that an earthling says ‘shoo flee’ you are in big trouble?
D36: No, why? What does it mean?
Friend B: You haven't heard?
D36: No…..
Friend C: When an earthling says ‘shoo flee’ you need to find them some food no matter what you are doing or where you are or they’ll eat you…..

I made a note to myself to remember that. I do not want to be eaten or be remembered for being eaten by an earthling.

****
The day that I had to leave Oylus for Earth came quickly. I had been told very little about how I was going to get to Earth or where on Earth I would land. I was only told specifically not to make any contact with any earthlings when I arrived.

A specialist team from Aliens Inc came to collect and took me to a large room that was completely white. In there middle of the room, there was a large and complicated looking machine.

Specialist A: D36 before you go, we need to run a body check on you. We don’t know what you might contract on Earth. Please can you lie on the Olyiscan 3000?
Specialist B:It will scan and record everything about you, right down to the tiniest molecule.
D36: Oyliscan 3000? I thought it was just a rumour that existed. Is this the only model? What can it do? I have never seen one of these before. Can I take a quick look?
Specialist A: Please. Lie on the Olyiscan 3000. We don’t have much time.
D36: Oh ok. Maybe when I get back then?
Specialist B: Please…..

I did as the specialists instructed. I lay down on the Oyliscan 3000. Blue and green lights started flashing and then everything just went black……The next thing I could remember was waking up, in an awkward sitting position with traces of blue and green light slowly fading away.

D36: Argh..., my back! Where am I? Is this Earth? Why didn’t they just tell me that was the space transfer? I don’t know what was worse, this or the crongravatrap? Body scan my Oylian green butt….

It took me a few minutes to recover from my landing. I had a look around me. Everything was very dim but I could still see. The room that I was in was covered in reddish brown wooden panels with a light wooden floor as well. Hanging on most of the walls, there were square or rectangular objects with strange colours and patterns on them. They were all surrounded by a rope barrier and had some kind of light shining up on them. Could these be the cave paintings that I have read about?

I got up and started to walk very slowly whilst still looking around. I saw other objects. Large dirty looking grey and white rocks that had each had unique and distinctive markings and features sculpted into them. What were these things?

Next I wondered into another room. This room was very different to the first, the walls were white and on one there was lots of writing on it. A part of it was in a slight larger text and it read ‘ANCIENT CERAMICS’. I walked a bit further and again saw rope barriers, this time they were protecting some misshapen lumps in transparent cases. There were other objects with these lumps but these were not in cases. They looked like the same but more round or oval, defined and had a small or large (depending on big these lumps were) opening to them. Some there covered in patterns, some were just in one beautiful colour. These were never in the text books. What did earthlings do with these? Did they symbolise something?

I was fascinated with all the objects. It was a feast for my eyes. There was just some many different things to take in when suddenly I could hear a steady click, click, click, noise that was getting louder. Something was approaching. I had to hide but where? I had a quick scan around. There was an extremely large oval looking lump in the corner to where I was standing and so I quickly manoeuvred myself behind it so I could not be seen but I could see whatever was coming. My heart was pounding and I waited. The something was an earthling. It holding a small mobile light emitter and was wearing dark clothing with a hat that had some more strange text on it that read ‘SECURITY’.

What should I do now? How long do I have to hide……?

Okay I'm gonna post my Round 1 thingy anyway, and hey if you wanna delete it then go ahead I guess I was late even though it's only like 7:30p.m. where I live O_O
But yeah go ahead if you want to, just thought I'd give it a shot ^_^\

Round One:
Location of Landing: Mountains

Believe me after I got that call I thought I was going to die! First they called me into the "examination" room to see if I was fit for the mission. Apparently they had to re-do my entire look, cutting my beautiful long hair and everything. Then they put me in this suit that they said would be incinerated while I was landing through the atmosphere. When I asked if I was going to have a partner, all they said was that they were going to send her in another ship just in case mine blew up. How comforting. Anyway, here' s my new look.

After that they said I would have to standby and wait until they were ready for me. I AM ready though! I have been reading books about humans for years, training myself how to act like a human, and even learned about their mere minds. Yet, I have never SEEN a human, in person that is. They set me up with a hologram device that starting showing me humans dancing and playing by some type of large animal I have recognized as a rabbit, but that was too big for a rabbit...right? Anyway, my mind was on other things for instance who is my partner? Why would she go to Earth? Is this her first time? What is she like? What will happen when I get to Earth? Will I find Azul? Can I complete my mission of finding a new place for Sloomookoo to transfer to? Will my children and I be exterminated? What will the humans think of me? What's going to happen? Where will we land? Needless to say, I wasn't really paying attention to the holograms of humans.

Finally we landed! The feeling of flying through the air and having your suit burned off you is not a pleasant thing! The ship made a large cranking clash as it reached the ground. I quickly found the clothes they provided for me for the mission and changed into them. They had told me that a living space would be provided after we crossed the mountain. What is a mountain? I don't recall reading anything about them... Soon I met up with her. Her name was Kyna, and to my surprise she was on Earth for the same reason; to find her husband.

Obviously she hadn't come on her own free will, but it wasn't the first time she was forced here. She had to come to Earth to fetch some important objects that could have let humans know of our visits we take. She said that this is the last time she is going to Earth, if she find her husband that is. She is a rebel and refuses to go with our legislature. I don't see why not, I mean, sure they did force me to come here, but then again wouldn't I have come here on my own free will sooner or later? She wasn't pleased when I needed to take rests. She kept saying things like, "How in the Sloomookooian world are you gonna find your husband if you keep slacking off!?" She certainly didn't seem to mind the cold weather, but I wasn't accustomed to this. She said after a number of visits you get used to it. I nearly froze twice!

By the time we got to the living quarters I was exhausted. Still she insisted on me eating, so I ate dinner with her. We talked about our kids. She said she had a beautiful daughter who was threatened to be killed if she didn't go on the mission. I told her about my twins at home. "Isn't it strange?", she said,"That Alien Inc. is sending the mothers of three out of six or seven children on the planet right now, where they could potentially die, and also threaten to kill the children?" I nodded in agreement and then went up to my hibernation bed. It was the only possible way I would be able to get sleep on this god-forsaken planet.

Your writing was very good and you certaintly have a nice writing style, but the pictures let it down. Firstly, I was confused because you didn't label your pictures. Secondly, you didn't have a body shot, you just had a picture of her on the course as a child. Thirdly, the pictures were repeatitive. I understand you may have been trying to get a message across with the first to pics but I feel you could have been more creative with the pics. Nice use of the military career reward, though!

I found your pictures... lacking. Apart from the last picture they had no real background, and were bland. I did enjoy your writing, though! I really like her back story, the writing was wonderful! Her expressions were really good but the backgrounds and the overall creativity of the picture lacks a lot. The room shot in particular. Many more thing could have been done, but you just took a picture of a wall with many windows. With a bit more work in how you decided to take your photos, you may have a winning team because your writing is very detailed. Also, I am not judging you on your content but I think a bit of custom content would go a long way. But again, this depends how you take your pictures.

Your alien is very beautiful and such a sad story. The last picture was especially touching. I love her facial expression! First off, let me say your aliens eyes are stunning. You story was very interesting too. Your backgrounds need work, there really wasn't anything identifiable in the background that shows her personality or is of interest. You did alright with the candles, it is just that they were too far spread out and that made it look unnatural.

I must applaud you on entering a male Sim, you don't see too many of those. The expression are great, they really show him and the story is original. The only thing is the backgrounds. They do have something other than plain blue which looks great in the first and last shots but the middle has the corner that screams out of place. Otherwise, great job!

I had to laugh when I saw your picture of your planet that made my day! The lighting was wonderful and the scenes were set up realistically. I don’t really have anything bad to say! I really love the last picture, it is so creative!

You're doing really well. ^.^.

I have two sets of Round I scores in now, and so I'm just waiting for the last set. Round II will be up a little later on today!

Well…okay then…I must apologise for S’lith’s behaviour and hopefully he didn’t offend anybody too much. I’m sure he’ll be fine, once he’ll had a nice luke warm lava shower and cold cocoa.

As before, this Round will have two parts to it. Continuation and First Contact.

Continuation: This will give everyone a chance to continue from where you ended your Round I entries. Three to four pictures are required for the Part I, detailing the events leading up to Part II.

First Contact: Again, this requires three to four pictures. As the title suggests, this is where your aliens really get to the nitty gritty - attempting to both explain yourself and issue a demand to speak to the Leader. Now the term Leader can be used loosely - depending on where your alien has landed, there might not necessarily be a Mayor or President in the typical senses of the term! And of course your alien must still be in the same area as when they first landed.

Picture Summary
Overall a minimum of six pictures and a maximum of eight.

Writing Requirements
A little bit more than last time - Eight lines per picture.

All deadlines are on the initial page of Aliens Inc, and will end at 10pm. .
