I know you weren't asking me, but I'm replying anyway. It's *very* cartoony - I wasn't really expecting the fourth generation of Sims to come out looking like *that*. I'm not sure how I feel about it, looks-wise. I'm not sure I like it. Even the Sims in TS2 looked better than this... Though the facial expressions are kinda cool, I just don't like the overall look. Feels like a step back in some regards... The gameplay is gonna have to be amazing now for me to get this, if these images are correct...

The sims remind me a bit of Sims 1 sims in 3D. I'm unsure how I feel about it. Even if the finished product really looks like this, I think CC will make a huge difference. CAS looks pretty awesome, though! I can't wait to see more.

Yeah I hope these are just concepts because I'm very disappointed in what I've seen. Especially the hair.

Hairs can be modded. Skin can be retextured. Mods will prevail!

Yeah, it's cartoony, but did you really want it to be uncanny valley? That might get a little unsettling after a while, and with ultra realistic you lose some of the comedy. Think Shrek humans vs the people in Tangled.

That Cas shot looks amazing. Click and drag waists! And a rather perish body shape compared to previous sim models.

No, I didn't want uncanny valley but a little realism wouldn't hurt... This looks like something you'd find on either a hand-held - even consoles have better graphics, character-wise.. I agree with lil_bag2 - am disappointed.
But, I shall save judgement still for the 20th & 22nd and see what EA shows, and what the gameplay looks like. Then I'll decide whether or not this game is worth my cash, cos at the moment, it's not.

EDIT - OKay, have seen the other pics and might be changing my mind, lolol. On a plus side, my partner loves the look which is good for me cos I can persuade him to buy it, lolol

I really like what they're doing with CAS. I just wish the Sims didn't look like they came straight out of the console versions of TS2
