*groan of dismay*
Alright, our high school is being knocked down and we're getting a new one. We visited it for the first time today, and it's THE SINGLE MOST BORING BUILDING I'VE EVER KNOWN. It's like a horrible, pale blue prison.

Sure, we have lockers now, and we've got bleachers in the assembly hall, but it's just so damn BLAND.

Every corridor looks the same as the last, just like the classrooms are almost all identical. It's disgusting.

The place smells of bleach and plastic macaroni.

It's so cold. Not really temperature-wise...it just feels so...uncomfortable.

Personally, I can't wait to 'customize' the toilet walls with a big black marker pen. It's just so unartistic right now. It needs personality.

I don't know why I posted this - I guess I would just like someone to say something that makes me feel better about it, or someone who can join me in my misery. Any takers?

If you can't do that, please suggest something for me to write in the toilets.
:D

I just hate SCHOOL.

We hardly learn anything anyway. I'd rather just get a job and start contributing to society.

My school is really weird. We have a huge campud spanning 2 school areas - originally, there were 2 schools there, one of which my Grandma went to, which is half a housing estate and half a field now, and the boy's grammar school. The old school building dates from Tudor times, and was visited by Elizabeth I in her reign. The stained glass windows in the library actually depict her meeting the headmaster at the time. Then there are bits added on to that building, including the music block, which is only a few years old and smells awful imo. The grammar school was there until the late 50s/early 60s and the headteachers only stopped using that area as an office when a headmaster hung himself when he was up in his office in '58. There's loads of ghost stories about that, and tons of people always go up the spiral staircase to have a look, but it's just a small balcony in the darkness with a locked door and old rafters. There's some rope hanging from a rafter, and people say that's how he hung himself, from that rafter, but it's probably been put there as a joke. The school as it is now was built in the 60s, which was when the main and English blocks were built. We've got a huge field area and despite being a music specialist school, we have better PE facilities than the sports specialist schools, of which there are least 2 in my town, but those are the only two I know about. That basically means they get paid more in the 'specialist' subject, so we get groovy music equipment and stuff, which is why the music block is cool. It used to stuffed up next to Maths, but they had a big fire just before I started and you can still see some of the fire damage and a lot of the old Elizabeth block was destroyed. There used to be a second canteen in there but they converted it into Art classrooms. They have really high ceilings with those fake tiles, and it goes on for two thirds the size of the rest of the room to the very top.
They tried to close the school a bit back, but it's got the best GCSE/A level results in the area, beaten only at GCSE by one school, which is in Lichfield and is really posh and stuff. So now they're gonna build a sixth form centre on our field, but it won't be finished until after I've finished sixth form, and we'll probably be the last year group to be in year 13 at our own school if we choose to do A levels.

Did I ramble on a bit? xD
My school is actually quite nice now I think off it. Only when you realise how awful it could be that you look happy about it.

Wow! A headmaster hung himself?

All of our teachers seem too happy about our 'beautiful new school' to do that, but you never know.

*resists urge to push her headmaster in front of a bus*

Honestly, all old 'Mouldy' (our nickname for him) cares about is sports. All of the money has gone into new gym equipment. They actually have too much now and are sending some back.

It turns out that the school is actually being rented out - it won't belong to the council properly for about 10 years, so they're fined for all the chewing gum, graffiti and vandalism that ends up there.

*rubs hands together and grins in a most evil way*

It'll be a hefty fine by the time I'm done with them!

I'm actually a very good pupil. Honest. Top marks in most things.

Lol. My school was built in the 1940's and added on to over the years, up until last year. My friend's grandparents graduated from there, and their picture is still on the wall. The gym smells like old wood paneling and sweaty people, and the stairs are so worn down they're slippery. It's on this country road by the airport and it's field for about a mile in each direction before you hit the city. It's a really bad school and none of the teachers care about anything. Probably because the school district went 500,000 dollars over budget in spending for the conversion of the best high school in the district into the worst middle school in the province. I went there for grade eight last year and my sub, well he talked like a girl, hit on all the guy teachers (because no teacher is over 35 at that school, weirdly enough) and wore the same outfit every day. The teacher he was subbing for was too busy with my science/math teacher in their condo to care about coming in to torture us with her airheaded-ness. And the math/science teacher, well he didn't give a stuff about any one of us and failed everyone in math because nobody learned anything from any of the subs. All the teachers care about is sports, and they pressure and pressure everybody to join a sports team or else they say you're not conforming with the school rules blah blah blah. I staved off joining anything that would get any sun on my skin because I got a spinal transplant a week before Christmas. At my new school, same thing, except I am still recovering so the sun shall never touch an ounce of my flesh for more than thirty seconds! Bwahaha! No, really. My skin burns to a crisp in five minutes. I just hope they don't have macho seniors who would beat the freshmen (or as I call it, fresh meat) into a lifeless pulp in seconds.

My school was built in 2000. Only 900 students, and for PE, they have off campus classess. We can also do a dance course with a dance instuctor from some studio downtown. All the classrooms are arranged in pods. The school has alot of computers, so all freshmen are required to take a course in computers. Campus is small, but it's not crowded.

I ended up in one of the nicer high schools. You actually get put into a lottery to get in. I was a winner. WOOHOO!! Now I have to graduate from there or else I'll be murdered. YAY *sarcastic*

Well... you could write something about your least favourite teacher on the toilet wall. Or draw them as a really weird animal. Or with a thought bubble over their head with 'I hate <insert school name>' OR if there's a really obnoxious kid then you could write '<insert name of really obnoxious kid> loves <insert name of someone they don't like>' hehehe...

I'm going to wait until the school is properly 'broken in' and the teachers aren't so paranoid about graffiti and whatnot.

I probably won't have the courage.

Okay, decided to post here. :P

My High School is 100 years old. I'm in the 100th Freshman Class (w00t! ). anyway, i'm loving it so far! The cafeteria is nice and big, we have two gyms (TWO! :O I know, right?) Anyway, i'm friends with quite a few people (I make friends easily, for some reason. :P) We have a huge quad (outdoor eating :P) And a big library! I'M LOVING IT! My mom and all her siblings graduated from there (And my grandparents, i think. :P) We're allowed to eat/drink in almost every class, we can listen to music in quite a few classes, even have LAPTOPS OUT IN CLASS! :D

My middle school was built in 2000.. O_O
The high school I'm going to is still being built (But it was opened about...last year)
My elementary school is 33 years old. (I graduated 5th grade in the school's 30th year =D)

My school is WAY strict.
No food outside the cafeteria, no food during class, no drinks during class (water is only allowed in my English class -.-), if you don't have your shirt tucked in you get In-School-Suspension like *snaps*....I could go on forever.

There is three gangs (that I know of) at my school
West side, South side, and the Juggalos.
And you kind of have to support someone so...
Go west side =D

Oh, hi, how are you holding up?
Because I'm a Cass.

Woah! What school do you go to!!! (Rhetorical question.) Two gyms! Listening to music in classes! Eating in class! Laptops in class! Woooow. I'm in middle school (I know I'm small compared to all these high schoolers...) but I thought high school would be stricter...

Soo sorry about your school, feefifofum. I would have such a tough time finding all my classes in a new school... but with old teachers and classmates (well not old but you know what I mean.) Because if you moved to a new school where most of the kids know their way around, you could ask someone.
If my classmates moved to a new school, all the kids at my school would be wandering around aimlessly...
"Where's the gym?"
"I don't know. Where's Mr. Jones' room?"
"I don't know. Can you help me find the gym?"
"No! I need to get to class!"
