I don't watch a lot of tv, so for the shows that are currently running, I'm not always caught up on even my favorites. But these are the shows that I like, including the ones that are off the air:

Star Trek (the original series)
Eureka
The Big Bang Theory
Cosmos
Planet Earth
Stargate: SG-1
The Crocodile Hunter
Batman: The Animated Series

There are several other shows that I'll watch when they're on, but this is the list of the shows that I really like.

The show I've looked forward to the most in the past few years was LOST. I have no idea what I'm going to watch now that it's over...

The Big Bang Theory is pretty funny, though.

I have a tendency to enjoy shows that get cancelled. Shows like Roar, Wonderfalls, Moonlight, Joan of Arcadia, Pushing Daisies, Eli Stone, and Ugly Betty... I swear, the executives making the programming decisions (especially at ABC) must all have ADHD. They never give anything a chance anymore before they're cancelling it and moving on to the next thing!

I'm the same way. Most of the shows I watch have been cancelled for at least a few years, if not decades. At least it means I'm less likely to spend my time aimlessly sitting in front of the tv; the shows I like I typically find on Hulu or Netflix, or I have to get on dvd.
