That reminded me that when I was a kid I brought a Sims game to my friends house (who's also a boy) for us to play it together, and his father was very offended that his son was playing a "dolls game" and said some offensive shit I don't remember on a rude tone that made me very unconfortable. I definitely was afraid of people knowing I played The Sims when I was younger because of it being perceived as a "girls game".
Nowadays I couldn't care less, it's a game for everybody that wants to play it, and being a girl is no less than being a boy anyway, so doing "girl things" shouldn't make anyone less of a person.
