Default Animals Glitched.
Hello. apolgies if this is the wrong catagory. Not sure where this would go.
I'm having a problem with all animals in the sims 3. Game is up to date. I have many mods. I started with a very deformed animal in CAS. Removed all slider mods even those for sims. that fixed that issue great though stinks i can't have any sliders in the game. Finished making the family on to game play. Now i have NRAAs Debugenabler, errortrap and overwatch (plus others) one of those kept notifying me orf script errors in the pets. so i watched one and it would disapear for a sec and reappear. It's not deformed. it can interact with sims and pets. i can tell it to do stuff etc. So i'm thinking ALL mods involving pets are broken I have one where the butler and maid will care for the pets and more stray animals come. Removed those, still glitched. any ideas how to fix this?

First step, upload the script errors at Nraas, since you have those mods: that's what they're for, so that people who know how to read them can tell you what they contain.

I found it's a slider mod which one(s) i have no idea. took the animal ones out and still glitched. strange sim sliders would effect animals. i'll put the sliders back in and get the error log uploaded.

When you remove mods, are you remembering to clear your caches?

I put all slider mods back in. I got severel error notafacations and the game crashed within 5 minutes.
I am unable to upload the script error log file so i had to copy and paste.

Well, it probably would have been better if you could upload it at NRAAS, but maybe someone like @izagor can make sense of it here?

You've narrowed the problem down to a slider mod, so my guess based on the fact that it's apparently complaining about the walk style of the horse would be a custom slider that affects a torso shape (Bust, height, etc. ) But that's mostly a random guess. And it could be the slider interacting with one of your other mods.

That was a really good guess. This is the bit that's actually erroring out:

Unless you have a walk style mod that affects horses, I would have to say it's a slider or one of your other pet mods. And yes, the TS3 game folder's 5 cache files should be deleted after removing the slider or any mods to see if that helps -- didn't see an answer to that one yet.

This kind of assistance is better provided at NRaas though, not here. It's where our coders live, they may be able to see something I am not if the problem persists. If simply clearing caches doesn't help I would try a test game session with nothing but NRaas mods in place at all, that is no other package based content, and no sliders first (and caches cleared). If all is clear, then add things back in batches until the problem reappears.
