Default Santa Sleigh, how to reduce poly count
I'm working on a Xmas set and one of my ideas was a Santa sleigh that's also a park bench. I've done this with Sims 3 cars, so I can build a drive-in. The issue I'm having is the poly count is insane, over 7000. I tried to decimate the object in blender and it warped it. I tried to use Balancer lite program and it says the file is too big. Is there a way in Blender or a program out there that can lower poly count without making the object look warped? I'll attach a photo of the object. Thanks

Hi @fire2icewitch

This is one of the videos we direct people to to reduce poly counts. It's not as easy or quick as decimating, but it is effective

When you have cylindrical shapes, there will always be tons of vertices, as you know. But with a complicated mesh like the sleigh, it's likely going to take a lot of hands-on manipulation to reduce the poly count.

Of course, there may be better methods out there and hopefully others will comment with those for you as well
