The Thinker by August Rodin created in 1917 and....He's still thinking..

I haven't created anything "new" in nearly a year and with all the new
versions of the programs, I had to teach myself all over again so I
started with something simple.

With all the wonderful creations out there it's getting harder and
harder to think up something new. But I had in mind that I wanted to
create a modern and historical museum for my game. And so here is my
first "classic" sculpture from "Shabetei's Museum of Mighty Fine Arts".

I need more practice at texturing and have just discoverd the use of .dds.
This object should be recolorable, I didn't make more colors of it since
bronze is the original sculpture's material.

It's EP ready and I have University installed, but it's not required for this item.

Note: I used the Chi sculpture when choosing an object to clone and
this object is the same size (width/height)

As far as Vertices goes: SimPE count is - Vertices=3853/Faces=4207
Wings3D counts it as - Vertices=2134/Polygons=2317/Edges=4445
MilkShape counts are - Distinct Vertices=2134/Vertices=3886
UVmapper counts - Vertices=2134/Normals=2134/Textures=3880/Facets=2317

I don't really understand why there is such a difference
in counts within the different programs.

When creating my meshes within my 3d program (I prefer Wings) I try
to keep the Vertices as low as possible while trying to retain a decent form in the object and this bothers me that SimPE has a vasted difference in the count. With the info I listed I can only assume based on UVmapper's count that SimPE must be counting the textures as well, but I'm not sure of it.
I am only hoping that I can learn to get more detailed in the texturing to lower the counts more.

Also note: this item has no cost, it was donated to the Museum ;o)
