How do I get my sims to look as anime as some of the ones in the screenshots on this site?

Everyone's sims are so much prettier than mine, I count myself lucky if they don't come out looking hideous.

Those sims usually have custom skin, hair and eyes, which adds to beauty. Look around and you'll find them

When it comes to making anime sims, you should make the eyes bigger and the chin pointy.
You can use the other facial features like nose, cheek, and jaw to make them look unique.
