Default Bread?
Where on earth do I get a large loaf of bread from?

I might be wrong, but I think owning a larder enables "large" meals. So wheat + larder + fireplace = large bread?

You have to make bread in an oven, like the one that's in the kitchen off to the side of the reception hall.

It's a Stone Oven that lets you do Bread and other Treats that the Fireplace Stoves won't do. If your sim's home has room, it's good to give them both types of stoves and the more expensive Larder. The food does spoil quickly in the cheap Larder.

You're welcome! I found out about that stove because it's in the Reception room and when I had a quest that said I needed to make bread (marriage one), I couldn't figure out how to do that until I tried that one stove.
