This user has the following games installed:

Sims 2, University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Pets, Seasons, Bon Voyage, Free Time, Apartment Life
Default Broken Stinky Skunk npc?
I was playing my Test of Time challenge neighborhood today, and a cat walked on to my lot named, "*NPCSkunkSkin", is this a sign of corruption, or something that just happens sometimes?
The skunk showed up fine earlier, he ate some trash and walked around like normal.
I never tried to add the skunk to my family, but I accidentally summoned a pilot to my lot in another neighborhood, that was about a year ago but this is the first time something weird, npc-related happened.
Is my installation ruined, and is there a way to keep it from getting worse if it is ruined?
Thank you for taking the time to reading this.

It just got worse, the Ideal Plantsim walked on to my lot and a ghost scared him, so I quit without saving. My game is doomed.

I do believe so because that is not normal.

There is a tread on how to repair your install but I cant find it.

Perhaps these will help:
http://simswiki.info/wiki.php?title...Objects.package
http://simswiki.info/wiki.php?title..._file_Read-Only

Restoring your corrupted objects.package files may resolve the immediate problem and making the files read-only will prevent the problem from occurring in the future.

The only remaining issue is whether your neighborhood is corrupted beyond repair.

Thank you.
I found all my discs, so I'll get started on replacing all those files now, and then make them read-only.
I have a recent backup of my neighborhoods, so hopefully its not too late to save them. But it was probably already corrupted when I made those backups.
Thanks again.
