Default Old fashion furniture recolor
I tend to play a more vintage/historical/old fashion style and was wondering if there were any good old furniture recolors specifically living room

It would help if you gave more details, what era (or era's) exactly? The 15th century, 1920's and 1960's had very different furniture.
I think most people don't try to make something look old by recolouring it because it's primarily the shape that makes something look from a certain era, the colours or textures are also important but a little less. Is there some specific furniture you like to have recolours from, like the Pets Atomic set, or the Uni medieval set?
Shasta did a bathroom recolour set, two colours based on some Norman Rockwell paintings, you might like those. The default version replaces the colours already in the game, the custom version is just recolours (and the normal Maxis colours stay the same):

Well, what do you mean by vintage/historical/old fashioned? Are you talking about Victorian? Or 50s Americana? Etc. Try to give us a time period/place to reference, and then we can (hopefully) point you in the right direction.

perhaps that wasn't the word, I play mainly a harry potter hood which is set in 50-90s England. and in general I'm not a fan of bright colors

Hmm, I'm not super familiar with that time period, but I'll share what I've found just in case. Two things, though. First, as Isa-WP mentioned, I don't really know about finding vintage recolors. The best I can say is to look for stuff in iCad's woods--that might help you get a classic/timeless look that you like. You can find some recolors by iCad right here on MTS, and also on tumblr: https://dramallamadingdang.tumblr.com/. Other than that specific palette, I'll have to link you to some furniture sets.

Second, 50-90s is still kinda a broad range, imo, and I've no idea if you're looking for stuff that might be used in typical Muggle homes at the time (perhaps this is where your vintage term fits, in? are you maybe going for a 50s retro feel?), or in Wizard homes (which might have an older, rustic/cottage-y, fantasy feel. maybe. depending on how you see it), or stuff for Hogwarts and other wizard public buildings, which might have older, more formal styles, maybe even Victorian/Edwardian, etc. So, I'll link you to a variety of sets and you can see what you like and don't like and get more specific, and then someone with more knowledge than I about historical cc can chime in. Fair enough? K.

First, though, gotta plug this set by Moocha Muses since you mentioned Harry Potter: https://moocha-muses.tumblr.com/pos...for-my-sims-and

Thank you! I actually have quite a bit of this, and oof I realized I left out exactly what I was looking for (sorry explaining things is hard,) I'm looking for "patterns" or fabrics whatever for the couches and chairs particular more YETI? colors/patterns

Okay, so you're looking for recolours of living room furniture in Yeti, or patterns that fit England from 1950-1990. I'm sorry if my recommendations are still very vague, it's still hard to pin down what you're looking for. Maybe you can share pictures of what styles you'd like to recreate?
I gather that you've downloaded pretty much everything by Shasta? Michelle on this site also did some Yeti recolours. And Amaryll/Withered Lilies: https://witheredlilies.livejournal....ect%20recolours
But then again, to my knowledge the 50s, 60s and 70s used colours pretty different from the Yeti palette.
Luasims has done a lot of (plain) recolours of Maxis items, some of the colours might suit your game, esp. the black, white, darks and brown: https://luasims.livejournal.com/
Anna's palette is colourful, but not very bright: https://an-nas.livejournal.com/tag/dl:recolours
HafiseAzalea: https://hafiseazale.dreamwidth.org/tag/dl:+recolors (although I must say, some of Hafis' recolours are a bit too bland and plain, with everything in the same colour, no matter material, design or texture).
LittleLittleSimmies: https://littlelittlesimmies.tumblr.com/tagged/buymode

For brand new objects (as in new meshes) which are (sometimes/often) not too brightly coloured:
Moxxa: https://m0xxa.tumblr.com/tagged/download
Lina definitely likes subdued colours: https://linasims2.tumblr.com/tagged/Objects; https://trappingdownloads.tumblr.com/tagged/buy-mode; http://modthesims.info/browse.php?gs=0&u=2113405&f=385; https://trappingit.livejournal.com/...d%20-%20objects
OhBehave: https://ohbehave007.blogspot.com/se...ect%20Recolors; https://ohbehave007.blogspot.com/se...bel/My%20Meshes
Riekus (recolours a bunch of stuff): https://riekus13.tumblr.com/tagged/ts2downloads
HolySimoly: https://archive.liquidsims.com/mirr...537EEA045BEAB9E

I'm stil not sure what patterns of fabrics would be suitable though, most Yeti recoloured objects are done in one colour, not a pattern using the colours (or at best a monochromatic pattern). Do you have any resources on this? What was popular in England in that time?
Maybe one place you should look is the Monthly themes and Event on Garden of Shadows. They are known for grungy and neon stuff, but there's also plenty of clean but subdued stuff to find there, or vintage looks:
https://gardenofshadows.org.uk/gard...php?board=126.0
https://gardenofshadows.org.uk/gard...php?board=127.0

Also, test some stuff out in-game if you aren't sure! Most previews have been brightened up and the colours might not be as bright as they look in the preview.
